I've been a beats by dre guy for years but upon reading a digital trends review, I checked these out. I'm a musician who's always traveling so sound quality matters and these destroy anything that beats by dre makes. They are phenomenal sounding and even sound better than the more expensing over the ear momentum. Go out and buy a pair right now!

After using this product for extended periods of time I began to notice the discomfort on my ears. These are over the ear headphones but the padding is not thick enough for my ears so I began to feel my ear up against the speaker in the ear cup. Short periods of wear are durable but extend use requires a break. Great sound and durability but for me the comfort was not what I would expect for headphones in this price range.

I have a set of NAD Viso HP50 Headphones which I love on there expansive sound but sometimes the lower end is missed with certain genre of music. So one day while knowing I was going to have to wait sitting at a doctors office I forgot my good In ear headphones. I stopped by best buy and went to look for the Momentums. Mind you there is 2 versions of this Senheiser model which has a big price difference. I got the 150.00 dollar version which does not have the leather stitched head band and is not over ear design ( price varies now between both models). I wasn't ready to spend another 300 plus like the NAD because I have seen some comparisons between these 2 models and some preferred the NAD's because of the detail and some preferred the momentums because of the lowered end detail. But I do have to say I am quite impressed with the Momentum on ear model. They are very comfortable and have an open ear feel that I didn't think I would like. The more I took them on and off the better I liked them. I did try both units and at the time I did not have my Hi-Res files in the player( FiiO X5 which I highly recommend also) to really compare them with. The more I sampled the music genres I have with Momentums the better I liked them. Now I use them almost all the time regularly and keep the Viso HP50s mostly for plane travel since they are way more isolated and do have the wider range and more detailed sound. But for the price difference the Momentums are a sure bet and recommendation to buy. If you are a bass head you might like these but don't expect the overwhelming style like Monsters "Beats" line where it screams mass marketing for bass designed heaphones. Give the Momentums on ear unit a shot . I think you will be impressed. I will definitely be looking to purchase the Over ear models and testing with Hi-Resolution files. If they sounded good with just lossy sounding mp3 files. they should definitely sound far better with Hi-Resolution lossless music.

Bought this for my girlfriend and both her and I are impressed with this purchase. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile but I can gauge whether or not a pair of headphones are of decent quality, and these are. Sennheiser is know for their high quality headphones with their high quality sound and you will not be disappointed with these.

I like the sound of the headphones and because it was on sale very much worth the price. I have a wide assortment of headphones and these are probably third or fourth favorite behind Philips Fidelio X1 and Sennheiser Amperior. I highly recommend these over Beats and made out of much stronger quality materials.

These are excellent headphones. They are better then the popular headphones and for the same prices. You will appreciate them once you try them.

It is light, and the sound quality is really good, real HiFi headphone. However, still not quite comfortable after 4-5 hours on my ear, a little bit tight. But generally, I still like it, better than most of other headphones I tried such as Beats mixr, beats solo.

These are great! I use them for school and home when I don't want to disturb anyone. I do a lot of editing at school in a busy computer lab and these help me to hear better and produce better projects for my class. Great investment and a great price.

I felt in love with this headphones, they are nice, have an iPhone control, sound is great and clear. I am enjoying while listening to music and movies, also good for some PC gaming.

Definately a great headphone to have. I got it from sale. It works for me everyday. The band is little bit tight when you start to use it, sometimes hurt if you are wearing long time. The sound quality is good

These headphones replaced an older pair of Sennheisers. Got them on sale, so price was better. More bass-heavy than I expected, but not overly so. Fit snugly on ears. Like the interchangeable cords.

I have higher end Sennheiser phones and love them. However, this new phone is so portable and still retain good sound that attracted me to this product. I am very happy with these phones.

I wanted headphones with superior sound dithout breaking the bank and these fill the bill nicely. M Ight have preferred the over the ear momentims but the price was out of range.

I think that these head phones are the best on the market. They have been around the world many times with me with no issues what so ever.

Low bass, high trebles and excellent sound quality. If you can get these on sale, they are a must.

Good headphones if you can find them on sale. Not the best quality you can get for $200, but solid if you can get them on sale for under $150.

This is a great headphone with very good audio. Bass is not exaggerated like some other headphone but very good vocal reproduction.
