So far I love them! Great sound, comfortable. Fast delivery. Great price! The factory sells them cheapest BTW per the dealers that they offer. BB beat the competition by a bundle. The inet reviews stated that there are a lot of knock-offs around the globe. I can hope and trust that BB sells the real thing.

These are great. Amazing. But there is a catch. You absolutely need an amp to power them up. Sure, plug them straight into your phone/ipod and sound will come through. However, it will not be the sound that you expect from these. If you don't mind the amp playing third wheel ,then these will be great for you. Also, these are Open which means that everyone around you will here everything you listen to. That's the price of getting that amazing clean sound.

These headphones are a disappointment. They are uncomfortable because they clamp down on the head and the sound quality is poor in my opinion. Moreover I had a very negative experience with the way BestBuy does business.
I was told I could not cancel this order even though it was soon after purchase and the item didn't ship for days. I was promised a price match on the phone and called when it didn't go through only to learn it was now denied. Despite this nonsense I would have kept the headphones if they had been better.

Great mids and highs. The bass is very nice, not muddy at all, and doesnt drown out the mids and highs. They get very loud, but dont loose sound quality when the volume goes up or vibrate your head. These headphones are extremely comfortable and stylish too.

Very comfortable, fairly lightweight for an over-the-ear headphone.
Great sounding, not bone-jarring bass but satisfying.
I would recommend these for anyone wanting to test the waters of higher end headphones. These make a great starting point.

Being a musician I tend to listen too critically to the virtuosity (or lack of) in each instrument being played. These 518's make it very easy. The detail and separation is phenomenal. The staging is wide and deep, tonal accuracy is spot on and I could go on and on. The simple fact that all this can be had for 129.00 U.S. (I missed the Best Buy sale at $106) is criminal. I've spent a lot more for a lot less. I don't consider myself an audiophile but I know music and what I like. These Sennheiser 518's deliver it immaculately. At the price I seriously don't why they're not the biggest selling headphones of all time.

While these headphones are comfy, the sound is not great compared to its other siblings.
