I purchased this shredder to replace one that has not performed well. Compared with other shredders, I thought the price was excellent. This shredder is able to handle more sheets at a time, and shreds the paper into much smaller pieces. It has not overheated at all. The shredder comes with one lubrication sheet. The manufacturer will send you 6 additional sheets if you provide a review on their website.

Very happy with this purchase. I like the small pieces that it shreds which compacts more too so that I don't have to unload the bin as often. It's got a larger bin than most for home use that I've seen and I like the handle on the top for moving it around more easily.

Nice microcut type shredder. It's good to know that it shreds documents very well and sensitive documents are unreadable after going through this machine. It does seem louder than most units like how everyone else has been mentioning, but it's a great device none the less.

This is great for shredding papers superfine, without showing addresses or account numbers. It is not as noisy like some machine, and easy to use handle. Glad I made this purchase.

Shredders are not inexpensive, but the price this one was that was well worth it. Really like the micro cut version so anything I shred is down into small enough pieces that it hard to imagine it being put back together. It works well, doesn’t heat up and clog up often like others I’ve used to have. But you do have to follow the instructions of how many sheets and what type of items you can put in the shredder to keep it running affectively. Great product that I’d recommend.

I was looking for a new shredder to replace my old model because it was starting to over heat and would stop working until it cooled down... ( I don't have that kind of time to spare ) I heard about these microcut shredders performing very well so I took a chance and bought this model and it's been working out very well.

4 stars to this Sentinel 10-sheet Microcut shredder. Durability is important so will comment on that at a later date. The microcut is a great security feature, bin quality and size I like as well. This model will destroy old credit cards, added bonus.

Love how there is a handle on the shredder to allow easier removal to empty. No more breaking a nail getting the heavy shredder off the can to empty when full!! I only wish the base was made with the area to sit a box of plastic liners but for home use I can trade that for the handle on top and make my own liners fit. Great size & price.

I haven’t tried to use 10 sheets but based on using 4 sheets I don’t think it can do 10 sheets. Using 4 sheets it worked fine. Previous shredders I’ve had didn’t need lubrication regularly.

Well built! Shreds fast. Definitely would recommend.

The shredder works great, but is a little on the noisy side. Shreds fast and you can conveniently see on the side how full the container is.

As a shredder, it does everything it claims to do. I was very satisfied. But when it comes to emptying the basket it is terrible. You have to disconnect the plug, open two snaps, take the whole shred mechanism off, and then empty the basket. Then you have to reverse the whole process to use it again. Why don't they just have a slid out basket like all other shredders?

This shredder gets the job done. Easy to set up. Makes short work of documents and credit cards.

It really does a good job shredding and is very easy to use.

Works great! Be sure to use it for short periods of time so that it doesn’t overheat. If it does the light turns red and you have to wait at least one hour for it too cool down. It has crisscross shredding and is effective.

This shredder works pretty well but 10 sheets is definitely pushing its limit. You will need to frequently use lubrication sheets if you plan on shedding 10 at a time. It fits up pretty quick as well. Takes over a half hour of shredding to overheat.

Really cuts the paper fine.The basket is only one fourth full and I've had this for at least a month . I shred all mail with my name on it. I get a lot of mail.I feel it's the best i've ever owned.

I purchased this shredder more than 2 years ago and have found it to be a reliable machine, I use it on a daily basis and to date have not incurred any failures. If the user inspects the paper holding tank periodically it should serve them in good standings.

Have had for a few weeks. Shreds nicely and is less noisy than others shredders we have had. Large basket but still fits next to the desk. Can lock shredder to basket to prevent small children from lifting shredder from basket.

We are happy with the shredder although it seems a bit hard to get the paper aligned unless you look very carefully. The clear slot on the side is very convenient for seeing when the shredder needs to be emptied.
