Stopped Working

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.at the end of the 1st year it just stopped getting power, after a few hours it started working again, now almost 2 years later and very few usage, it died, not the cheapest for it to go out too soon, 100% wouldn't recommend this brand

Died after 9 months use

I checked with the manufacturer and the unit was still under warranty. At my own expense I had to purchase a box to send the unit back to them ($5.65) and pay shipping costs ($57.00). I wonder if the expense was worth it when my expenses were about 1/2 the expense to purchase new.

Do not buy

I rarely use the the shredder. I contacted the company Sentinel. I told them I know it is out of warranty upfront. I told them I will pay to have it looked at an fixed. $300 is a lot of money for a home shredder. They told me they don’t fix anything after warranty. Remind you I live 2 miles from the corporate office. They told me they can offer me to buy another one.
