Bought this for my wife she loves it and it was the cheapest I could find on the internet.

Able to watch at my leisure and enjoy past favorite episodes.

A must watch if you are a fan of these stories and stars.

This is the show that started the now long string series on HBO. WHY DID HBO NOT SHOW THIS WIDESCREEN? Good start to the show & the characters. One thing I do NOT like in season 1 & 2 was those cut aways where Carrie is telling the story to random people to get their views. I was glad when they stopped this. My favorite character is Samantha. Why, for the most part she is honest & tells it like it is. Yes, she does lie but it is her responses, to the point, not mincing words. Least favorite Charlotte. Everything has to be a certain way. If a piece of gum got stuck to the bottom of a shoe she would call a cab & run into her apartment to take a shower. She thought herself so much better than others but she slept around without a thought. Kristin Davis did a great job with the character but still my least favorite of the girls. Carrie. You like her 1 minute, the next you do NOT. She is high end to but won’t cook for herself The clothes & shoes were a big deal on the show YET IN A LOT OF THESE OUTFITS HER BRA STRAPS HUNG OUT Yep, that is high class NOT Miranda She was smart but easy. Liked her views sometimes the next you did not. First season was Skipper We meet BIG (John we learn the first name ONLY in the last episode of the show and did NOT learn the last name until the first movie) He felt for Carrie but still treated her badly throughout the show NOW WHY I HATE THESE DVD PACKAGES These horribly designed flop open cases. In information in these on episodes, no extras.

This show is very well put together. The first season is just the beginning, you'll be wanting to buy them all! The show takes place in Manhatten, New York. The main character, Carry, writes a column for the New York Times called "S*x and the City", and she narrates every episode about her internal thoughts and some thoughts of her 3 best friends. The four main characters start in their late 30's, are unmarried, and we pretty much get to see the fun they have in the city while being single! Very funny and very entertaining, definitly my favorite!

Bought the entire series for my fiancé by buying the individual seasons and saved almost $200 compared to other stores/sites. Received all of them very quickly and on time for Christmas. Can't beat the free shipping deal and they arrived sooner than the estimated delivery date. Worth every penny except the fact that I have had to watch them every night since then :(

Within a week of receiving it, I finally opened it up...My husband and I sat down and watched the whole season. Obviously I liked it more than him, but I think he actually kind of enjoyed it as well!

Total chick flick series- but that's nothing to complain about! I even got my boyfriend to watch it with me, and it's just great!

This may not be the best of the seasons. The format was completely different. But the show wouldn't have been what it was without a beginning. And a great beginning it was nonetheless. :)
