This purifier does an outstanding job. I do feel as though it doesn't like my cooking, everytime I make bacon it winds up to full strength.. seriously though this unit is quit when it is running all day and I like that I can darken the panel out so there is no light at night. It is loud when at max use, but remember that is six fans running, and it does not take long to get back to normal speed. Overall this unit seems to make a big difference in the air quality in my home. I know it is up to 1200 sq ft but does very well in my 2200 sqft home.

Love this purifier! Quiet and easy to change the filter. We really think it makes it a difference in our space.

I did lots of searching reading pros and cons to find and the best and most quiet air purifier and found the Shark air purifier. I bought 2 shark and We LOVE IT!! It’s quiet and it will let you know the air quality changing of colors. When cooking the smell does not go into our bedrooms or leaves odors. The only thing is the filter will last for 6 months then would have change the filter. I just have keep on watching for sales on the filter.

definitely an upgrade from our last model and makes a big difference in our home. Even better when I got this on a steep discount during a flash sale.

Excellent product, worth buying. This product cleans the air in the room and makes the air fresh and you can realize this when u breath. Clears even the smoke in your room. I cook the Indian style and it is common that the room is filled with mild smoke and smell. This product clears the smoke and eliminates the smell and gives fresh air. Though it is freezing out, when there is mild cooking smoke, I can not open the windows. This product takes care of the air quality.

The Shark Air Purifier is one of the greats things i bought for my home. When we cook it sucks up all the smoke and even when wife irons her hair the burn smell it detects it and start making the air smell better. I sleep better at night and house don’t t have a smell from trash can or a Oder it just makes air better. If you want candles or wax smells turn it off because it will take the smell always lol

Super simple and pretty quiet. I like the information it provides. And the auto function is really nice. I leave it running all of the time.

Filters are expensive! We have 3 of these and the displays are going out on all 3. But it does a good job of filtering the air.

The filter works good. This is very quiet on the low setting. It filters my space very fast. I definitely recommend.

Love my “clean air machine”. I have it placed near my front door to catch any allergens that may come in when the door is opened. It comes on when I am cooking and it senses odors like fish etc. It’s not loud except when the fan comes on full blast. But normally you don’t know that’s its on at all. My neighbor bought one too and loves it.

Works well. Loud on higher fan settings. The light for power went out, but still works if you know where to press. Filters are expensive.

This thing is amazing, its odd that its always at 100% but if you do cook and it stinks up it will slowly drop and goes red and adjust the fan. Pretty neat thing for cleaner air but costly filters.

Pretty much what we expected. Works very well. The filters are pricey but you can find off-brand replacements online.

I feel that I have had every type of air purifier since Oreck (do not recommend) to the latest ionizer and plasma generators. So this review is coming from a place of experience. For those who say that the purifier shows clean air at set up, it should. The device analyzes the air as it pulls it through the filter. A lot also depends on placement. Is it near an area that is subject to a draft? Near an air duct? Set the fan to high for ten minutes to stir up the air and then back to auto and let it run a bit. 100 does not mean the air is absolutely pure any more than 0 means you are the canary in the coal mine. Shuffle through the settings and check out the particulate matter reading. You don’t want it running at max speed for very fine dust as the result could allow finer particles to be sucked past the filtering mechanism and discharged back into the air I have two dogs and two cats and even dog cheese farts did not linger long. I bought two of these for downstairs, one for my personal space ( three connected rooms) and another for communal space. So far so good

This Shark air purifier is the best I’ve ever had. It’s whisper quiet on low. When in auto mode and cooking bacon or sausage you hear it kick in to high and works great at removing smells. With 2 dogs and a cat I want my house to smell clean. It sits just 3 inches from a wall and has a thin profile. Not a big ugly loud machine. Very happy with my Shark.

Light enough that I could carry it into the house myself, easy to set up in various rooms, easy to operate. It tells me what I need to know. I set it on auto and change the setting to a lower brightness, turn it off at night. It’s very quiet. My house no longer smells when the furnace comes on! The price was right - I bought it on a one day only sale. Would I buy it again? Yes.

This product was delivered in excellent condition, usually boxes are torn or beat up, not this time, the unit itself is large and heavy so this might explain the good condition. This Air purifier seems to be the best of the best. I have used Hunter air Purifiers for the last 20 years, this is far superior in my opinion. I really like the programmability of the unit, either full time of for a few select hours, I set it to turn off at bed time in my living room, therefore I don't worry if I left it on all night. Fan speeds 1 & 2 you can't really hear the unit, speeds above that disperse more noise. Make sure you understand the replacement filter is $100, if your fine with that, you'll probably only replace the filter around a year later, depends on individual use. I prefer Shark over other products, I have a vacuum that is impressive, and a hand vacuum as well. I got this on sale $249.00, a great price for what you get. When I see this on sale again, I'll pick one up for my master bedroom and toss my Hunter into the guest room.
