Bought as a gift for someone, have never used this but, we have the shark vaccum, very good products

It doesn’t clean on the sides very well and so you still need to sweep and mop them.

I love the way that it cleans my floor and carpet.

So far I am happy with my new shark. I very much like that it's both vacuuming and cleaning at the same time as this saves so much time and extra work. My vinyl floors like ok great and no streaks left behind. I use the auto brush cleaning afterwards and that's a nice feature to have. I have pets and it did a great job picking up pet hair. Can't wait to see what it does for my area rugs!!

This HydroVac XL is a total garbage. First, the vacuum is almost non existing. It is unable to clean carpets. It doesn't pick up the smallest debris. Forget about animal hair. Second, the so called "mop" is a joke. Brush hair is very short and it works on completely flat tiles, only. It worked only on my kitchen floor. An amount of cleaning solution coming out is mediocre. How do they expect to mop the floor with such small amount of water? Third, collecting bucket is very small. I am returning this gadget.

Does what is says it will do! Easy to maneuver. The self cleaning is great. Once with soap, once with clear water, remove cover to let air circulate to dry completely. Ready for the next cleaning job. I like having a cord no need to worry if battery is charged or where to plug in. After dry store in closet or garage. Easy!

Not what I was expecting and doesn't work that great on my floors.

Unfortunately quit working after four uses after receiving an empty tank error. Looking online this is apparently a common issue with this device. When it did work, its cleaning ability was pretty unimpressive. Absolutely would not recommend.
