Amazing vacuum with decent battery life. Awesome portability.

We got our Shark - ION Rocket® IR101 Bagless Cordless 2-in-1 Handheld/Stick Vacuum on sale. Wow, what a deal! I wouldn't dare buy my wife a vacuum, so I bought it for my son to do his chores & he's stoked that it gets the job done without lugging a full size vacuum around the house!

This Shark Ion Rocket is a great cleaning tool especially for those with pets who constantly shed around the house. The suction power has two settings: one for heavy duty suction and the other for extended runtime for everyday cleaning. It comes with a pet multi tool which was amazing for cleaning my couches and my car seats! I love the portability of the vacuum since it is handheld and the battery compartment is directly on there. Each different tool can be connected to the main handheld and easily removed by the click of a button. The floor nozzle does shine a light on the floor but it isn't very bright so I would recommend not using it into the dark. The vacuum is bagless but the dirt compartment is very small so you'll find yourself emptying it out very often if you have a dirty room. That being said, this vacuum is mainly for small rooms and cleaning shelves, cars interior, couches, and sucking up cobwebs from the ceiling. I am really enjoying this vacuum and the portability is just awesome to have. It's very easy to use and has a long lasting battery that has a battery indicator so you could see if you need a charge soon. Great vacuum and now my clothes and food don't have pet hair in/on them.

I am at awe with this vacuum! The Shark ION Rocket IR101 Bagless Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum is honestly the best vacuum I or my household has ever had. We already have a high dollar, big name brand "ball" vacuum we got earlier this year and the Shark blows it away in every way. I can only find positives with this vacuum which I will note below. I have strongly tested the capability of this vacuum, almost like the old Shark infomercials when the company started up. I have went over my entire house including floors, couches, blinds, walls, ceilings and even fans. The Shark ION has yet to not impressed me or my wife. Our furniture gets destroyed by our 110lb Bloodhound and his short hair, the Shark made our microfiber couches look like new after seconds instead of minutes with the "ball" vacuum. The flat stick did the blinds in our entire house, which has 12 windows, in under 20 minutes, no need for taking them off this time. The floors are cleaned with ease, from carpet to hardwood, with a push of a button. Stairs are a breeze now with it's light weight and awesome ability to shorten the size of the vacuum to almost the size of a dust buster. Being battery powered should not scare you in the least, it did our entire 2200 sqft home, the furniture, blinds, cobwebs in the corners and the fans on one charge. The hanging station is also a great and compact piece. Took only a few minutes to put it in our pantry and set it up too easily charge while in storage. Next, the car was attacked by the Shark ION. The kids cereal was no match, the dust in the vents and the seats were eaten up with ease. Also, with the flat bar, I was able to get in between the seats and console with ease and under the seats without removing them. This may be a car detailers dream vacuum. The Goods: Power and lots of it Quiet Light Weight enough for the elderly Large Capacity holding bin for a handheld Amount of accessories included Ease of storage Push button for more power of longer battery use Push button for carpet or hardwood floor Portability to the car or up the stairs Fast charge Long Lasting Battery Ease of switching attachments and more I can't think of right now. The Bad: NONE!!! I will recommend the Shark family of vacuums to anyone now and I am a sold customer for life.

Vacuum works great for detailed cleanings. I use mine to help keep up with my cat. I wish it had a longer battery life, but the replaceable battery is a great feature and the vacuum can hold a great deal of dirt and dander. Overall, another great rocket vacuum!

Took forever for me to decide which one and I am very happy with my choice. The perfect cordless vacuum to do quick clean-ups and especially to vacuum rugs! Wish I hadn't waited so long!

The ION Rocket is more convenient than Dyson. It has a high and low setting. The LED lights on the front of the ION vacuum head are surprisingly useful. I thought the lights might be a bit of a novelty, but they work really well and do a great job of illuminating dust/hair/dirt/stuff on the floor as you vacuum. I was able to vacuum in corners and hallways and doorways without having to turn on the lights and I could see all of the dust as the vacuum head moved forward, and then see everything was gone as the vacuum head moved backwards. Fantastic feature. The battery only lasts for 15 minutes.

I've used a couple of these units that we have at work so wanted to try this one out at home. The unit is built well and has a straight forward assembly. I didn't need the instructions but still glanced at them to make sure I wasn't screwing up. On hardwood floors and laminate, this thing is impressive! It performs wonderfully. On carpets it does a good job too but might not have the horsepower for heavily pet haired areas. Battery life is another plus with this device. I can do my entire small house and it will barely drop a notch. I recommend letting your cordless devices get almost dead from time to time and have a timed outlet for letting them charge. Seems to help the battery maintain a longer life. The handheld feature and attachments work like they should and work well. The only downside for me with these vacuums are the top heavy design. I realize they have to be for the versatility but they do take some getting used to. They are a bit of a challenge to store as the head is so much heavier. Not to say it is bulky or burdensome to use because it isn't. Overall, I really like the unit. For the money, it is a bit pricey for what it is. But, it is a fairly powerful and very well made cordless vacuum.

I need a wireless vacuum, of which the dust bag is also easy to clean. I know there is a more famous brand, but i do not want to spend so much budget on it. I had a shark vacuum (wired) before and it works very well. After used it for 1 month, i came back for writing this review. it is a good vacuum and could clean all of my hairs, small dust on the hardwood floor. Functional as good as its price. Works for me!

Good for use on hard wood and tile floors. Runs a good amount of time on one battery.

As a senior and having arthritis it is easier to use and less strain on joints.

The vacuum is super convenient and easy to use. Only reason I gave three stars is because the battery life is very short and it does not come with anything to hang it with, expected a little more for something so expensive.

We love it - and we haven't had battery longevity issues mentioned in many posts and we've had it for nearly a year. On the other hand, I don't usually vacuum the entire house at one time so i don't know the overall battery lints - it picks up great

Simple Review: The pros of this unit significantly outweigh the cons and is an easy recommendation. In-depth Review: Starting with the in boxing it's pretty straightforward. It's one of those "once you pull it out it doesn't go back" kind of box setups. First thing you'll notice is everything feels like cheap plastic which is great for lightweight but it's always nice to feel like you got your money's worth at this point.it has multiple attachments which should be expected and the only thing I thought was missing was a charging dock. Small complaint but I think we should expect more from the manufacturers. Performance is where this thing has a lot going for it. Attachments are simple and instructions aren't needed thankfully. The moment you turn it on is when the vacuum pulls you forward like a proper vacuum should. I haven't felt that much power under a vacuum since my old monster vacuum way back when. If you appreciate that it of course leads to amazing suction pulling in so much more than my high end competitor I use to use. The tray for the collection I think needs to be slightly bigger as vacuuming half of my house required me to empty the unit to keep going. Battery Life is great able to get over an hour of vacuuming easily and it has the option to get more batteries plus a charging dock so you never have to stop. Might be a great add on if your house is big. Recap the unit is lightweight with slight cheap feeling. Power house that I would say is more powerful than leading handheld vacuum brands. I recommend buying this vacuum and I will tell you right now I'm going to be buying these as gifts to other family members that would benefit from having a great vacuum that's lightweight.
