This is a real good vacuum cleaner. Picks up all the dirt on the floor and vacuums real well. Bought an extra battery pack for more cleaning time.

I recently got the shark ion robot vacuum for daily use. I got this cordless stick vacuum for supplemental cleaning such as hard to reach areas, stairs, and spot cleaning. It's perfect for my needs. It wouldn't be enough for a full house cleaning, but with the two interchangeable batteries, it's sufficient for one round of stairs. I love not having to drag the cord up with me, and then having to bring it upstairs halfway through and plug it in again. 5 stars!

This is a great vacuum and the fact that it is cordless makes it that much better. I'm a fan of Shark products and this one is definitely a higher end product. The battery life isn't the greatest but it gets the job done. We have NO carpet and just LVP flooring and it does a fantastic job on it and the area rugs. Lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend this product

The battery life is pretty short. It just dies without warning. The second battery for back up is $99. Otherwise I really like the sweeper. It cleans really well and treats my floor gently.

Very handy, powerful and light. Motor does tend to run hot and it shuts down under any extended use.

I've only had it a couple days so only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. But I am so happy that dyson I owned for 8 days stopped working or else I wouldn't of bought the shark which honestly way better buy. I love it, lightweight, longer battery charge, and you don't have to hold the button to have it stay on. I'd Reccomend shark is the way to go!

I bought this stick vacuum for my wife when it was a deal of the day item. I wnted to get her something lightweight and not restricted by a cord. This vac is just that she loves it, It is nice and quick for quick little jobs for the average household it is fine but if you have a large home just get another battery and no problem and there is all kinds of upgrades you can get for it. Awesome little vacume at an awesome price.

I've used this only a handful of times so far, but it picks up pet hair well. On a full charge I'm emptying the receptacle at least once about midway and then again just before the battery goes. The battery life could be longer of course, I'm getting about 23-24 minutes out of it and that's on the low power and floor setting and only briefly going over and area rug (which it does indeed grab traction on and try and fly across). Yes, do know that if you use this (or any vacuum at all with a power head) you will be pulling hair out of the roller at the end of each use session. If you do not you will at best make it far less effective and at worst burn up the power head. Do not expect to do an entire large home on a single battery charge either, be realistic. Yes, they need to put a more robust battery in these or at least offer a second battery at a low price. With two batteries this thing would be enough to do our whole 3,000 sq ft home. As it is I can do the large living room, the entry foyer, 30' hallway, den/dining and kitchen on a single charge. A couple of times there was charge enough to do the laundry room too. These are the highest traffic area and accumulate the largest amounts of pet hairs, so again, it is doing what we bought it for. The handle can get warm, not an issue really. The particular sound and decibel it makes does give me some right ear discomfort, but that ear is sensitive and I can just put an ear plug in if need be. In summary, be realistic in what you expect this machine to do and you will not be disappointed with it.

I waited a few months before I wrote a review. I’ve been using this about every two days. I have wood floors except for 2 bedrooms that have carpeting. It’s unbelievable the dirt it picks up. It’s very light to push around and I love that it has a light to guide me. I haven’t tried the attachments yet, but I’m sure they will work out great also.
I got this on deal of the day, one of my best purchases.

I love my vacuum! Lightweight heavy duty on vacuuming easy to store off in corner wherever. Doesn’t spread small crumbs all over sucks them all up I have dark wood floors and it makes them look so pretty again! Works great on carpet. Battery life is not great on high suction so I would recommend the extra battery but I only use high suction once a week and regular suction daily.
Its great Vaccum

In my opinion Dyson is priced at the cost of replacing carpet in some instances. Shark is lower cost but works great. Duo clean works on hardwood floors as well as carpet. I have no hardwood floors , on carpet it works great. One battery charge lasts long enough to clean my 3 rooms. Also cleans auto interiors and more with its handheld options that are included.

This is my second shark purchase after being a loyal Dyson customer for years. This is a review on the grasshopper. Lightweight, good battery and phenomenal pick-up power. This particular item came with only one battery. I bought another with a dual battery charger and all good now.
I can't believe how much dog hair I picked up on a small section of rug that seemed clean. That's when I actually bogged down; the brush was full of hair. No problem; the brush was easy to remove (and clean) from the base of the vacuum. They've thought of everything. I purchased this on a buy of the day at a very good price. Add another $100 for the extra battery and dual charger and the "bargain" started to become a little pricey. Despite this, I gave a five star for good design and quality. In fairness, I could have gone without the extra battery. It just made sense to me. Good job, Shark; Dyson is slightly better but not worth the extra $$$$. The only negative is the small dirt reservoir. The ease of emptying the reservoir "completely" offsets it's small size Dyson typically has a bigger reservoir but you have to struggle to get all the dirt out. Often the dirt gathers around the filter which is awkward to clean out completely. Not so with the Shark.

Pros: Comes ready out of the box, standard vacuum attachment with wood or carpet option, attachments, ability to get to hard to reach areas. Suction is powerful. Easy to empty canister. Less expensive than Dyson for similar performance.
Cons: Battery life. As listed it only lasts about 20 minutes on continuous use.
