Customers regard the Navigator Lift-Away Bagless Upright Vacuum favorably due to its strong suction, lightweight design, and ease of use. Many appreciate its performance on carpets and the reasonable price point. However, some customers find the cord length to be insufficient and the dustbin capacity could be improved. A few also noted the vacuum's noise level.

So, never bought a "real" vacuum, not sure that this qualifies but so far it's been a great relationship. Moved into a house with all wood and linoleum, does a good job without the brushes spinnin. Attachments have been nice to clean up window sills as we remodel, the spinny thing is awesome on the car seats and carpet. I like it a lot in the car actually getting the nooks and crannies. No clue how it would work on house carpet and will probably never find out, but seems like it'd be a nice fit for carpet as well. My only comparison is a really old Eureka stand up and it's light years ahead of that.

This is a great vacuum for the price. And it works excellent. It's light and easy to use and it snapped together. I needed no tools to put it together. The cord could be a bit longer but other that that.

Great little vac. It's easy to carry and use. Light weight makes it a pleasure to vacuum with. Canister is really easy to clean and you can see when it's full. It has awesome sucking power too! This is one product that we can say it really "sucks" and mean it in a good way!

I love that it is light weight and my kids can now use the vacuum we have in our home. They can lift it and carry it up and down the stairs in a 2 story home. It is easy to use and get to hard to reach places. We have all wood and tile floors in house with rugs and easy to use on everything and picks up dust and dirt on furniture with extra parts. Easy to empty and clean with no bags needed. The price was very reasonable and I have been very happy with my purchase. We did construction/remodeling in our house recently and this came in handy to clean up all the dust in the house.

I really like the vacuum. It is easy to use and it works great. The only concerns I have are these. The cord is constantly getting in the way when I am using it. I cannot figure out how to position it so it doesn't get in the way of where I am vacuuming. Also, the tools don't seem to stay in place-they are not fitted tight enough and just the slightest bump of the vacuum and they fall off. It is annoying but overall the vacuum is so great that I will keep it.

Had a Hoover wind tunnel 2 that eventually starting breaking after so many years of use. The canister on the old vacuum was a pain to empty and the bulkiness made it hard to use, especially when the handle and body started breaking and cracking. So when I started looking for a new vacuum cleaner I came across the Navigator lift away by Shark and read the reviews on its performance.
The reviews have been spot on because this slender and compact vacuum gets the job done. Using it for the first time the suction was so incredible that I was amazed at how much dirt was taken up from the carpet in my house. Another plus is that its so light weight and easy to maneuver during usage. As far as storage this product made things just as simple and emptying the canister was no problem. Also the price was great compared to another brand that costs much more. I don't mind vacuuming now, I actually look forward to it.

Did not realize how badly my old vacuum cleaner performed until I used this Shark vacuum. My rugs looked completely different even after only one use. The suction is phenomenal and it is so easy to lift. I am so happy with this purchase.

As the title says, so far so good. This vacuum is a major upgrade over my old Windtunnel. It has great suction and seems to pull itself along from the brush speed. It also appears to be picking things up that my Hoover left behind, though the Hoover was on it's last legs so it's not a completely fair comparison. This vacuum feels like it weighs less but it could just be because its smaller and easier to manipulate. I like the dimensions but feel that the collection cannister could have been a bit larger. It looks large but has an "empty when stuff gets up to here" line that is pretty low on the side. I'm guessing it's supposed to be emptied at that point so that suction isn't lost if overfilled. Not a big deal, just a small gripe. I can clean my home without it needing to be emptied until I'm done. Some reviewers are unsatisfied with the width of the cleaning head, however I like that it's a little narrower than my previous vacuum. It allows me to get into areas without moving things around as much as I had to with my Hoover. My last issue, a small one, is the way the extension wand attachment fits onto it's holder. It hangs upside down from the pressure fitting that it pushes onto. It sometimes falls off when I'm hitting my stride. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my first Shark and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or recommend one pending it's durability.

This is my second vacuum of this style.
One for inside of home and one for outdoor patio carpet rugs and garage carpet rugs.
I love this specific style because it is light weight, easy to use, has the lift a way canister, and most of all the suction is phenomenal.
I highly recommend this exact vacuum. You will not be disappointed.

This is my second Shark. I bought it so that I could do stairs and it is great! I was happily surprised at the way it handles - easy around corners. It separates by undoing 2 clasps and pushing a button so that I can take the very light midsection to so the stairs. Easy to empty, just push a button to separate and take the container to the garbage, push another button and the bottom opens to dump out the dirt. The newer model exceeded my expectations is suction and handling. Highly recommend for the price!

Great suction power, lightweight, versatile, and I LOVE the simplicity of the product! I really like the light that tells you when your roller is not working properly. I haven't gotten to clean the parts yet, but I'm hoping it's as simple as the rest of the vacuum. I really like the accessories that come with the vacuum as well. The small roller has worked wonders on the steps and the couch. I used the brush to get my nasty lampshades as well, and now they almost look new again!!! LOVE IT!

This is my second Shark Navigator. I bought the exact same model because I loved it so much. My first one did not break. I gave it to my daughter to take for her college apartment. Originally I bought this particular vacuum because all of the great reviews and it did NOT disappoint. It is easy to use, great suction and easy to empty. I have two dogs, one being a heavy shedder, and it works wonderful on picking up hair. I have ordered new filters without issue. My husband asked why I didn't buy a newer, upgraded model. Why fix something that is not broken. This is a 5 star product in my opinion.

Lightweight vacuum that works well on our bare floors and carpets. Has great pet attachment for the chairs and couches to get pet hair. Has many attachments to cover all areas of a place. Easy to attach and detach components. Easy to dump out the dirt after vacuuming. We have steps, has easy way to vacuum them as well. Swivels as well which helps with vacuuming. Was very happy with this purchase.

this is a great vacuum for apartment dwellers. it sucks pretty much everything in its way - at least on hard floors. my apartment only has carpet for one room, and I think it does a decent job on carpet as well. dust is pretty much sealed once they're inside, but the vacuum runs hot after a while (don't worry, it will turns itself down if it gets too hot, but this never happened to me). it's really easy to maneuver, has a pretty long cord, and comes with a bunch of tools. it's pretty lightweight too! the only thing I don't like about it (and it's really2 minor) is how you clean the tube. it's really easy to empty it (one push of a button), but at the same time, the dirt and dust (the finer ones usually) might stick on the surface of the bottom of the tube. however, you can get around it by emptying it from the top instead of the bottom, or you can just wipe it afterwards - I'm just being overly critical. 10/10 would recommend

I ended up getting this for my wife about 9 months ago. She really hated my old vacuum from college since it didn't clean thicker carpet very well.
She decided on this one because it is pretty light for it's size, it had all the attachments she wanted, and we had heard good things about Sharks,
We have not been disappointed with it at all. It sucks up all the hair and dirt in the carpet that other vacuums had missed. It also works on smooth surfaces, which was also a key selling point. We can go from our thick carpet, to hardwood, pack to a thinner carpet, and back to tile with just a flip of a switch.
Only downside we've had from this vacuum is that out dog has a weird love/hate relationship with it. Someday' shes ok with it, others you just can get her to stop attacking it :).

Great vacuum!!! I bought this while my Dyson was getting warranty work done. This one is easy to use and gets into smaller spaces. It really has great suction. I have a dog that sheds and this does the job. It is a little cumbersome to take the canister off to use on the stairs but still does the job. Biggest negative is the cord, not near long enough. I have to unplug in about every room. I still prefer my Dyson, but this Shark is a really close second.
