Shark’s entry level robot vacuum is on par with what you’d expect in this price class. It clears carpet decently and keeps the pet dander from building up too much between cleanings with a regular vacuum. I wouldn’t count on this to replace a cleaning service or regular cleaning. Pros: -Decent Cleaning Performance: The Shark Robot Vacuum generally performs well in cleaning, picking up a good amount of dust and debris from carpets. The dustbin was relatively full after each cleaning cycle. -Quiet Operation: One of its notable advantages is its quiet operation, making it less disruptive than other robot vacuums I’ve tried. Neither of my cats ran from it (though they looked at it suspiciously). -Shorter Design: Its compact and shorter design allows it to navigate under furniture and in tighter spaces that taller robots I’ve had. This gets under furniture nicely! It’s also small enough to go comfortably between chair legs, something the Euffy can’t do. -Quick Room Navigation: The robot moves efficiently and quickly through rooms, completing cleaning tasks relatively quickly. It’s much faster than a Roomba, which takes forever. It’s not quite as fast as Euffy’s cleaner, which has a larger brush area. -Clean brush: The brush roller stays clear of cat hair, despite 2 cats in the house which lounge everywhere. Cons: -Inconsistent Hardwood and Tile Cleaning: On my kitchen floor, the Shark vacuum pushed dirt around instead of sucking it up. I ended up having to vacuum it separately. As that room is my messiest, I was really hoping the robot could effectively give a quick sweep each night. Unfortunately, this is still my chore for now. -Inferior to Corded Vacuums: The cleaning performance, while decent for a robot vacuum, does not match the cleaning capabilities of a corded vacuum. I picked up significant hair and dirt when I went over an area just cleaned by the robot. Of note, I usually vacuum about once per week. I picked up about 25% of what I typically see. -Inconvenient Dustbin Placement: The dustbin is located on the front, immediately adjacent to where it parks on the base. This means I have to pull the robot back to get the dustbin out, then hope I line up the robot with its charging contacts when I put it back. -Collision with Obstacles: The vacuum frequently rolls over or through obstacles such as pet bowls, spilling contents. I have to put the bowls on a shelf of the cat tree when the vacuum is running. -Limited Scheduling Features: The inability to schedule cleaning for individual rooms at specific times limits its flexibility and convenience. My general preference is to alternate which rooms are being vacuumed so I don’t have to pick up everything every day. I can also much things around between rooms being cleaned and those on pause. Unfortunately, the room by room settings are only available from the app for immediate start instead of scheduling for when I’m not home.

Bought this as a Black Friday sale for $100.This is my fourth Shark vacuum. I prefer them over other brands because their suction and navigation seems to be superior for the price point. Does a great job of cleaning on its own. As many have said, the app needs some improvements to make the existing features more reliable.

Only used 3 times but so far it works great. All other I have used seem to get caught somewhere but this one has gotten itself out every corner with no problems. The price was right as I got it on sale for $99.

does what is should, not super loud and was on sale. would be nice to have auto empty waste but for the price i get it

Have been using this everyday since i purchased and has been the best decision! Works well, mapping is awesome and gets the job done!

I bought this to get introduced to robot vacuum technology. I wanted something that did the basics well and this unit mostly meets that requirement. There are several things I think it should do better. First it tends to vacuum the same areas instead of going to areas that have yet to be vacuumed; this is an issue because it is never able to vacuum the all areas because it has a technical problem and is unable to finish (which seems to reset what it last vacuumed). Actually I don't think it has yet finished vacuuming without it have a problem. The most common problem is that the beater brush gets lint or string wrapped around it and that causes it to abort; you have to go rescue it and clear the problem. Also, it gets stuck on cables/wires; it doesn't do well with those obstacles. Another issue is that it gets full of dust and debris quickly; it doesn't hold much. But it does a great job of vacuuming and that really is the most important part; it's just not very automated since you always have to assist it.

The Shark Navigator Robot Vacuum has been a solid addition to my cleaning routine. The SmartPath Navigation actually does a good job mapping the room instead of wandering around randomly, and it rarely gets stuck. I was surprised by how well the self-cleaning brushroll handles pet hair, no more stopping to cut out tangles. It’s not the quietest robot vacuum out there, but it’s efficient and picks up more than I expected, especially on carpet.

Works on both hardwood and carpet! Easy to map the entire home! No alexa connectivity though.

This product has good suction power and less noise. But battery life is less.

Easy to setup. Goes over rugs well. Overall impressed!

Shark robot vacuums have definitely improved. The LiDAR navigation works well and mapped the rooms accurately. -The anti-hair-wrap brush roll is great for both pet and human hair. It was very easy to empty the bin and clean the brushes. My only real complaint is the Shark app doesn't always work well. On occasion it just crashes

Works good software is a little clunky and it does have a hard time docking by itself but we'll say it goes over stuff so when you have a weight scale on the floor they'll try to drive on it and end up getting stuck so make sure you set your no-go zones and everything else

These Shark Robo vaccuums were purchased as gifts for my kids homes plus my house. The sales price was too good to pass up. We have had a Shark Robo vac and if this model is as good as the older models it will be a great buy.

Programming it was easy. It did what it was supposed to do in cleaning the floors, and returned to home base when I called it to. I liked that when it found sections that needed extra cleaning, it did it.

I had an old rumba which finally died it was great. The shark is good doesn’t run as long and dissent pick up as much, but makes nice lines in the carpet. I run it every day. I don’t have it run

Really like this vaccuum, it works way better that some if the other “lower budget” options out thsre that I’ve tried. The mapping function works well.

Love my new Shark Navigator! Much quieter and more efficient on picking up dog hair and dust!
