It was fine for about a year and then completely lost suction. You now have to use the "turbo" button for it to suck up basic crumbs otherwise it'll just move the crumbs around. It's also takes getting used to that the brush will pull the vacuum forward which makes pulling it backward feel awkward. It's fine I guess and probably because it's so light.

The Shark Rocket cordless vacuum is a very nice vacuum cleaner. The best features are that it is both cordless (power comes from a built-in lithium-ion battery) and lightweight. That makes it easy to move around whatever you’re cleaning (the floor, a sofa, your car) without having to drag a cord or heavy base unit around, which is a huge convenience in my book. There are only two main parts, the head unit with the dirt collector and the power switch, and the extension (called the “wand”) that reaches the floor if you want to use it like an upright vacuum cleaner. The floor unit has a powered roller and a built-in light to illuminate the floor in front of you. The dirt collector is made of clear plastic, so it is easy to see when it is full, and emptying it is easy as well. With the floor extension removed, the head unit itself can be used much like a hold-in-your-hand dustbuster as the attachments fit onto the end of it. There is a broader fitting for cleaning something like a sofa, and it has a brush attachment for vacuuming dusty surfaces. There is also a crevice attachment for getting into narrow places like between couch cushions or between seats in your car. Accessory connections are made with a positive click fitting, rather than the usual press-fit connection typical of vacuum cleaner attachments. I find this a nice feature as well as I always have trouble keeping press-fit attachments from coming loose. The power switch has two settings, depending on whether you’re cleaning bare floors (low speed recommended) or carpets (high speed recommended). The difference is the speed at which the roller spins. There is also a trigger much like the trigger on a gun you can pull for a “boost” mode to give a momentary extra suction power. It is not meant for constant use as you must keep the trigger pulled. We have two pets (dog and cat), so we have pet hair on the furniture all the time. I first used this unit in the hand-held mode with the brush attachment, and it did pretty well on removing the hair from the cushions where it tends to cling pretty tenaciously. It certainly did no worse than our conventional vacuum, and it was much more convenient to hold and use. The battery is not removable, so you’ll want to keep the battery charged if you vacuum often. Indicator lights on the head unit gives the state of charge, and a full charge takes about three hours. The unit was charged about two-thirds out of the box, so I did not have to charge it before use, and it did not run down during the vacuuming session I put it through. While this unit is not necessarily a substitute for a full-size floor vacuum, especially in terms of how often you will have to empty the dirt collector versus how often you have to change the collection bag on a full-size vacuum, it holds its own very well, and the ability to switch between floor and hand-held vacuuming makes it useful even if you already have a conventional vacuum cleaner. In many situations, this unit could serve as your only vacuum cleaner. I highly recommend it.

Great on carpet but not on hard floor or tile pick up is not so good. You have to go over it several times

We have all hard floors. This thing is amazing and convenient. Struggles to pick up large pieces but overall does what it says.

Unfortunately did not work. I was excited to use it in my new home but when I started it the suction piece wasn't functioning.

Not the best of the best. I have an older model that worked better, not enough power for this one.

Honestly, the worst vacuum ever. It did not have good suction or pick up anything after the first two months. I recommend either spending your money on a Dyson or buying a Bissell for the same price

Doesn’t work on carpets or bathroom rugs. Red error symbol appears and stop working. Alittle too top heavy.

Vacuum simply doesn’t have the power to do the job. Switching back to Dyson.

I don’t know how this can be labeled a pet vacuum. All it did was move the cat hair around my hardwood floors. And it has no power over rugged areas. A complete disappointment. Yes, fully charged and new filters.

Great cordless option. Good value! Satisfied with all my shark purchases thus far.

Wouldn't recommended this vacumm with those that have pets. Doesn't pick the hair up very well. And i do not like that there is not much suction, unless you you the power botton. I qould jave thought it would have been regular suction and then added suction. Its not.

So this works great for a few minutes. Battery dies too quick. I wish the battery was removeable to allow swapping but its builtin. Also it charges too slow.

Decent, but the battery life per use is incredibly low.

I used the vacuum for 6 days . It worked well until it quit and the battery would no longer charge. Lights flashing indicated that the vacuum needed service. It was returned to store and replaced with a new one.Will see if new one works better.

Works great in hard wood and the light on the front works really well. Would recommend it!

Having owned a stick vac from a major competing brand for several years, I cannot say how delightfully impressed I was by the performance of the IX141. Its build quality and overall performance sucked my expectations up! Design/Build – The IX141 is well built. It’s not too heavy, and the accessories seem like they will last the test of time. Plus its overall design is pretty attractive with its blue and gray color. Accessories – There is an “on-floor” cleaning head, which is the long stick and cleaning head for cleaning floors. It’s not too wide so that it can fit in tight spaces. My favorite feature of this accessory is the headlamp like you would find on a traditional upright. The “above-floor” cleaning head is a small attachment that works on upholstery (like sofas and chairs) and small spaces. The “in-car” accessory is not really for cars, but perfect for reaching into tight spaces like corners and crannies. Performance – Two things to report on this. First off, the vac isn’t very loud compared to my older stick vac from another brand. I didn’t have high hopes, but I was proven wrong. The dust bin picked up a lot of debris from my carpet and hard floors in just a few minutes. What I liked most was the “on-floor” accessory seemed to have fluffed my rugs way more than my old stick vac. I think this helped pick up more dust and debris. So this is an absolute win in my book. Secondly, the battery life seemed to last long enough to clean up my 874-square-foot home in about 25 minutes. It’s rated at 40 minutes, and I suppose it’s possible, but I kept squeezing the boost mode trigger for increased power. So keep that in mind for your cleaning tasks. Regardless, I think the battery power was adequate and will suffice. If you have a large home, you will need to break up your cleaning tasks into smaller chunks or opt for a traditional vacuum. Gripes – While the vac provides great value, there are some annoyances I have with it. Firstly, the power toggle is a toggle. You have Off, Hard Floors, and Carpet Floors. There’s also a trigger for its boost power. I like the feature of my older stick vac from a competing brand where you pull the toggle to turn it on, with an optional boost mode. Also, I really wish this came with a wall-mount accessory. It’s a missed opportunity in my book. Overall, the IX141 blew away my expectations. It’s a great stick vac, and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.
