Looked good coming out of its packaging. I kept it for a few weeks to give it a chance. It is flimsy and doesn't have enough power to pick up dog hair. I was past the ridiculous Best Buy 2 week return policy. You have lost a customer. Reputable companies stand by their products and allow returns. You should have a 30 day return policy.

Save you money. Buy a better one.

Had this vacuum for 1 month, and was used about once a week. Genuinely save your money and get a nicer vacuum. It has grooves under the main lip make it so it doesn’t go over material well (vinyl, carpet, rugs etc). You have to use the most powerful setting to pick anything up, including pet hair, which is why we bought it. The attachments are the only thing that made me give 2/5 - they are nice. This thing does not pick up dust. Putting on Facebook Market immediately and using that money toward a better vacuum.

I have had this shark vacuum for less than 6 months and it has completely stopped working. When it is turned on, the unit sounds like the engine is growling and spits debris out. I use this vacuum briefly everyday to clean up kid messes, this isn’t like heavy duty use every day.
I tried to contact Shark for a replacement and they will only fix the bottom piece which is conveniently not under warranty and will cost $90 to replace. Needless to say, I will not be sinking any more money into this item. It was good while it lasted but I would expect a purchase like to last longer than 6 months. I bought this to replace my last dyson which lasted 10 years. Highly regret this and buyer beware that it is not a good investment.

The 5 year warranty definitely a lie, where is the 00000 star for this customer service and company, after you paid the bug price and let them know since the beginning battery is defective they told you to no worry with the 5 year warranty then I called and they said ohhhh not sorry you have to pay $150 for a new one because is not covered. Please be aware of this scam, and the battery is defective, dont let them fool you.

One Month in and Poof -- Dead

Well, we are about a month in and the thing is dead. With our old shark, we could just replace the battery, but this thing is a single unit. After talking to a customer service rep, they agreed to replace given that we are under warranty, but not after a) trying to get us to pay $420 for a new battery and shipping (!!!) then b) just shipping on the new unit. Here's hoping the new one comes and lasts longer than a month.

Works great but not amazing. The worst part of this vacuum is the difficulty in finding a replacement ac cord to charge it. From amazon to the shark website even the places who sell the product.
