First the good features are its lightweight and balanced in my hand when using. The parts snap together easy. Suction was good. The bad features are the need to clean after using once is horrible. The pet hairs are quickly wrapped up in the roller and wheels. You have to unscrew and detach the plate, pull apart the tiny wheels that are so small and have a washer and a pin and then pick off the hairs. I do not look forward to this clean up after every use. You need to detach the motor from the top and place it on a clip at the bottom of the shaft in order for it to stand upright and not fall over. For double the price you can get a better roller that is not a brush. Way overpriced in my opinion.

I have been using the Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with XL Dust Cup and LED Headlights, and it has been an excellent choice for keeping my home clean. The suction power is impressive — it picks up everything without leaving any dust behind. It does a great job with pet hair, fine dust, and everyday dirt, leaving floors truly clean after each use. The XL dust cup is very convenient because it holds a lot, so I don’t have to empty it frequently. One of my favorite features is the LED headlights on the vacuum head. They make a huge difference by illuminating hidden dirt, especially under furniture and in darker areas that are usually hard to see. Being cordless makes it extremely easy to use. Honestly, I was skeptical to try a different brand. But this Shark vacuum has exceeded my expectations. I love this vacuum as a mom who has two kids, a cat and a dog, carpet and hard flooring I needed a vacuum that could do it all with ease. This is it! The light is awesome. The suction is top tier. Plus it is light weight. And also it doesn’t take 5 hours to charge my like my old Dyson and it doesn’t get clogged. And the battery lasts long enough for me to vacuum my 2 story house and still have two bars. It also has a suction button where you can have extra suction. I love this vacuum. And it has a 5 year warranty unlike Dyson with a 2 year.

I have hardwood floors and throw rugs. It’s good for the hardwood floor doesn’t really work on the rug

I honestly didn’t expect to love a vacuum this much, but here we are. This Shark cordless stick vacuum has completely changed how I clean my home. It’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver, even around furniture. The suction power is surprisingly strong for a cordless vacuum — it picks up pet hair, crumbs, and dust in one pass on both hard floors and carpets. Battery life is solid — I can get through my 2-bedroom apartment on a single charge, and it charges back up quickly. The LED lights on the front are such a smart touch; they help me see dirt I would’ve totally missed otherwise. Another huge plus: it’s quiet. I can use it without feeling like I’m waking the whole neighborhood. Emptying the dustbin is quick and mess-free, and I love how sleek and modern it looks. Storage is also a breeze — it barely takes up space. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. This vacuum has made cleaning feel a lot less like a chore and more like a quick, satisfying win.

Very good and light weight, the regular mode is enough to pick most things up on carpet. The max trigger is helpful for getting deeper items. Overall great vacuum, the wheels started to squeak after three months but function wise it’s still solid.

Works great on wood or laminate floors and rugs. The lights on front really help with seeing spots you missed. For carpets, it’s probably best suited for low pile carpets. It has a lock protection when there is strain on motor that shuts down the spinning brush and it does that a lot our carpet which is long like shag style carpet. Other than that it’s great and so much easier to use the bulky plug in vacuum.

This shark vacuum was amazing, my wife and I got it during Black Friday, and we have loved it so much. It cleans our apartment so well. It even has a trigger to increase the power and strength of the vacuum cleaner though it drains the battery faster, it gets the job done. It picks up small dust and dirt particles as well as long hair and things trapped in carpets. It has a carpet and a hardwood setting, but depending on how thick your carpet is, sometimes the rotating blades get stuck. This is only an issue when we try to vacuum our thick rug

I think the best way to review this new Shark cordless vac is by stating what it is, and what it does well, and what it’s not. It has Shark’s typical excellent build quality and ease of use. It's well enough packaged to survive even rough shipping, and it’s simple to assemble. Snap-in the wand and connect the beater head for upright use, or just snap on an attachment for handheld use. All the parts snap in place with locking connectors, so pieces aren’t going to fall off. The only other part is the charger since the battery is built-in. It’s also amazingly light and easy to use. With the beater head, there are two settings on the power switch … bare floors and carpet. The only other control is the “turbo” trigger for increased power (and short battery life). The low profile head is good for getting under furniture and low items. It’s also bagless and easy to empty, but do that over a large wastebasket or such to control dust and spill. As a handheld, without the long upright tube, it’s exceptionally light and easy to use. I found this great for stairs, and it would be pretty decent as a car vac. As with all Shark vacuums, it has LED headlights on the beater assembly which are actually a great help in cleaning. What it’s not, in my opinion, is a whole-house upright vacuum. The run time is listed as up to 40 minutes, but that’s without the powered beater head. Battery time drops to 20 minutes in that mode, and down to 10 minutes with the turbo switch activated. The battery is built-in, so there’s no swapping in another if you run out of juice. There’s just the slow, plug-in charger and a few hours wait time. It doesn’t have Shark’s excellent no hair clogging head, and it just doesn’t have the power and suction of a corded upright. A strange omission in my mind is that there is no way or provision to hang it up for storage and charging. It cannot stand upright on its own, but it can be leaned against a wall. With that said, keep in mind that it’s about half the price of that famous English brand. In conclusion, it’s a quick, easy and very lightweight stand up vacuum for spot jobs, and for those in-between times when you don’t want to haul out the big, corded vac. It would be easy for kids to operate to clean up spills and such. Being very lightweight also makes it a great hand vac for cars, stairs and such. If you live in a small house or apartment, it could be the only vacuum you need.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is small and powerful enough for the day to day and convenient to clean up the car and the upstairs. I will say it takes the small rugs and has some resistance that might be too much for someone with shoulder issues. I love this shark as much as my upright.
