After tons of research on the Dyson cordless, I ended with the Shark Rocket for multiple reasons. 1. I didn't want to spend $300+. 2. I read that the Dyson lasts 30 minutes on one charge, it usually takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to vacuum my entire house. 3. The closet that the vacuum is in does not have an outlet to charge a Dyson and I really don't mind the cord. The cord is long enough to where I only have to move outlets twice. I did think that the vacuum was going to be heavier when actually vacuuming, it really isn't. I used my previous vacuum and noticed a significant difference.

Light weight, adequate power cord length, great on carpet. Ok on floors. My favorite parts the attachments.

Although I would have preferred a cordless I did not want to worry about battery life. This sweeper is light weight and has great suction. Plenty of cord to maneuver around the house.

My mother-in-law wanted a vacuum cleaner that was light weighted which also had comparable cleaning power to traditional upright vacuums. After researching many brands I found that Shark made some of the best vacuum cleaning products without breaking the bank. My mother-in-law absolutely loves this Shark vacuum. She likes that you can move it upstairs without hassle since it's light and easy to handle. It takes up little space and is being stored in the corner of a small bathroom. Excellent cleaning power for the carpeted areas and wooded floors. The dust is easy to remove from the vacuum too. Overall a great value for the money.

I love this vacuum. It is lightweight, the cord is long enough to go just about anywhere, the top part detaches quickly with no suction lost at all, and the entire vacuum is easily taken anywhere - from cleaning the stairs, to keeping cobwebs out of the corners, to getting dust off the baseboards. I am so glad that I made this purchase.

This vacuum is extremely lightweight, very easy to use and clean, and has maintained a strong suction after 3 years of almost daily use. It isn't the most powerful vacuum out there but it performs the light-duty jobs we bought it for. You can vacuum your whole house with it, and we have from time to time, but I would recommend something more powerful if vacuuming thick plush carpet.

I love the Shark Rocket Slim Vac. It's more powerful than my Dyson Pet Upright Vacuum, easier to get up high without a lot of fuss and I can get under the beds without having to disconnect and connect to other parts. It's light weight and maneuvers easily around and under everything. I highly recommend this product.

Light vacuum cleaner. Easy to carry especially stairs. Does a good job in cleaning. I love the hardwood floor attachment. It comes with microfiber cloth. Along with vacuuming you can get the floors swept too. Easy to store, does not take lot of space.

Great vacuum, gets in tight place and under tables. I also have a Dyson and this vacuum did as good or better at picking up test items I put on the carpet. It's very light weight and easy to push. A couple of things that I think would be better is, the vacuum could stand up on its own, and you could empty the dust cup without bringing the whole motor to the trash with you. Overall, if you are looking for a small lightweight vacuum with a lot of power, this is a great choice.

This shark is lightweight easy to use on all floor surfaces and carpets. It really cleans well. Sucks up a lot of dust and dirt other vacuums miss!

We needed a new vacuum and saw an ad for the Shark Rocket. It is small, lightweight, and has a lot of power. 2 settings allow use on carpet and vinyl/hardwood flooring. Multiple attachments. Becomes a smaller vacuum by removing parts. The bagless function is nice; its easy to see when it is full and is easy to empty. Lot of manuverability.

I love this vacume. I have never used a household cleaning tool that made me so happy. Powerful, Lite, user friendly - multi-purpose tools. Powerful!!!!!! PS bought one for my 76 year old mother. She also loves it. Lite enough for her to use easily.

My husband bought this to replace a full-size vacuum cleaner that was bulky. This one is very light weight and has a lot of power. We have two dogs and it cleans up after them nicely. nIt is very easy to clean out --- much easier than a bag. And it turns and swivels every which way.

I have a 1000 sq ft apartment with two children under the age of 5 and a wool rug that is always shedding. I love that this vacuum can reach all the way under my couch and can store on a hook in my closet. It's so easy to use the attachments! The canister is small, but really easy to dump into the garbage can, so I really don't mind. I love seeing how much it can pick up!

Great vacuum cleaner. I appreciate how customizable this vacuum cleaner can be with all the different attachments that came included. Cleaning the stairs or under different pieces of furniture has become sooooo much easier since I got this vacuum. Also, I appreciate its ability to clean both carpets and hardwood floors.

Light weight easy to maneuver. strong suction. long cord and comes with an upholstery. crevice and dust attachment tool. Great for small homes since the dust collector is small but easy to empty. Pet hair no problem but the brush roller does get tangles with hair, so it needs to be cleaned every now and then.

This Shark works as well as my "expensive, fancy" big-name vacuum at a fraction of the cost! I love its easy to use design and versatility . The long cord makes it a snap to empty, although the small size of the bag-less container is why it didn't get five stars. We have two dogs and it really is powerful enough to keep up with the hair! It comes with a variety of attachments (not on board) and a large bag in which to store them. Great value for the price!

So far so good. Easy to get under chairs, strong suction and lightweight. Easy to change from carpets to hardwood or tile floors. Only negative is that it will not stand on its own because it’s top heavy. Easy to modify to do stairs or high places. Overall a great vacuum.

I like how lightweight it is, how quick and easy it picks up dirt, and how easy it is to store it.

I own a Dyson cordless V8 and have waited months to get a replacement battery pack to no avail. If they did have one, it is $129. I bought the Shark Rocket (reg. $199) for sale price of $99. It is not cordless and that is a good thing as far as I am concerned at this point. It is perfect for my tile floors and I even used it on my carpet in places and my area rugs also. I am glad I purchased it and it was $30 cheaper than the battery for the Dyson.
