Terrific vacuum that is versatile, has more suction power than the less expensive models. I recommend it!

We've been an Oreck household for 20 years or more. The professional model I had from my single years finally broke down. She saw another Oreck on sale at a discount store and purchased it. It worked great, especially on carpeting, but unfortunately the upright was twice the weight of the original one we had. Bought her this Shark as a requested gift. She LOVES it. As efficient as the Oreck but lighter and great attachments. Reason for only four stars? Can't stand it up. It won't remain in an upright position. Have to hang it on a hook in a closet, lean it, or lie it down.

The Shark is lightweight and very efficient, it picks up everything and gets under furniture easily

I needed a vac that could get into more places. This vac did that. It has a tight turning radius and one can quickly start using the vac in places other than the floor.

This Vacuum is great with lots of suction power and light weight for my young daughters to use.

I like the lite weight and compact nature of this Model of the Shark Vacuum. Cord gets in the way a bit, but better than a heavy battery. Two issues I have: 1) Carpet Roller get stuff tangled in it and stops moving Good news is Red light let's you know it is NOT working and green light is on when all is OK 2) Dirt chamber is small. I have to empty every other use and I have a 1 bedroom Apt of 750 sq ft. so get a different Model for a bigger home.

Read other reviews before buying, some good, some no so good but decided to take a chance. Good decision on my part. Great cleaning power both on carpet and bare floors. Have always had a canister vacuum as uprights were too heavy to manouver and wanted something lightweight but powerful. Found it in the Shark once I got used to having it be somewhat topheavy but manageable. My carpets look the best they have in years. Just wish it had a retractable cord like my canisters but can't have everything! Small dirt cup but fine for my home.

I wanted a vacuum for light vacuuming and overhead work. Thought about a Dyson but didn’t want to pay that much. Shark has a good rating and the price was right. Happy to say that it does a great job. Since it is corded, I don’t have to get my chores done in 20 minutes. Lots of attachments as well.

Great power and easy to use. Extremely versatile. Great to get under couches and chairs.

I didn't know vacuuming could be so fun! The Shark makes it so. I love that it has a headlight for those dark corners. I'm particularly impressed with the modularity of it. It can be a handheld, regular rugs/carpet, or floors. And the attachments allow you to do drapes, up high, under furniture, etc. Lightweight, easy to maneuver and get around and under objects.

I love how light this vacuum is, works well on my car and gets up all the pet hair.

This Vacuum cleaner works very well. Good suction power, and rolls easily over floors and carpet. The one issue that I did like was the weight of the vacuum is a little too heavy to take off the wall hook and carry up and down the stairs. that is why I would not recommend this item. Also attachments are difficult to use.

Bought this for my son and his wife for their apartment. They have ferrets and need a unit that's good for pet hair. So far so good! Only reason for missing a star is that the last Shark we owned had small parts break.

After our Dyson died, we thought we would give Shark a try. Really like the weight and the ability to sweep under the furniture.
