    I had a Dyson pet vacuum and had to exchange it under warranty 3 times because it quit picking up and the last time a card on the ball broke. I gave up Dyson for the Shark Rocket. My son raved about it so I thought I would give it a try. Best decision I ever made on a vacuum cleaner. It picks up all the dog hairs plus the rest of the stuff they pick up.

    I bought this based on a friend telling me how much she loved hers. The suction is great - and love how easily it "fits" under things. The "rotating" head also makes it easy to get into locations I can't get into with my upright. I also love having the detachable corded handvac instead of my rechargeable one.

    Took a minute to get used to the swivel, but this thing is awesome! I have tile and wood floors and a few rugs. Rugs move when i vacuum them, but that's just because this thing works. Just have a kid stand at one end of the rug, and i have no issue. Lol
