This is perfect for someone with both carpet and wood or tile flooring. The salesman recommended it because the brush is gentle on hardwood floors (does not scratch it) but has a lot of suction power for carpeted areas. I love the way it swivels and maneuvers almost effortlessly. It’s strong but lightweight. It also has a nice bright light that showed cobwebs underneath some furniture that I had never noticed before! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile vacuum.

Pros - The suction is very powerful suction. It is a compact vacuum that does not take up much space. The cord is long. The headlight is very bright. Cons - If you have weak hands or arms, you may have problems with this vacuum because it is top heavy. If you need to pause in the middle of vacuuming (to move furniture or something), you must lay the whole vacuum down because it does not stand up by itself. The wheels have left many black scuff marks on my floors, but the marks are easily wiped away with a magic eraser.

PROS: Light weight, lengthy wire, good in carpets and bare floor. CONS: Feeling a bit heavier while pulling the vacuum towards the body, but runs faster when pushing it away from the body.

THE VACUUM HAS GREAT SUCTION FOR ITS SIZE. I DID DUMP THE DIRT BIN JUST BUY LEANING IT OVER THE BACK OF MY COUCH AND INADVERTANTLY RESTING IT ON THE BIN REALESE. HAD TO VACUUM THAT PILE UP AGAIN. JUST NEED TO GET USED TO IT. WORKS GOOD ON THROW RUG AND HARDWOOD FLOORS WHICH MY HOUSE IS THROUGHOUT.

We wanted to upgrade from old vacuum and I was a little hesitant with this thing, but so far it’s been great. Picked up dirt and other items the old vacuum had left behind. I would give it 5-stars if it were easier to store together. But I’ve definitely been happy with the purchase.

This is th second Shark Upright Vacuum I have purchased. As advertised, it does pick up more than the Shark Rocket. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy. I would recommend purchasing this for sure.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It's easy to maneuver and light enough to carry upstairs. Picks up dirt right up to the edge of the baseboards. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Bought this to replace an older shark vacuum since we just took out all of our carpet and put in hard floors. This thing works awesome keeping the wood clean and love the duoclean stuff.

Seems to vacuum well, but since the motor is up by the handle the whole thing is top-heavy and cannot stand on its own. When you take a break, there has to be a place to prop it up. Nevertheless, the light weight and flexibility outweigh that negative.

I find this to be an excellent value as well as a great vacuum. I have several cats and find it to be great at picking up the cat fur. Easy to use and store with plenty of suction.

Purchased this on sale for our daughter, and she loves it! We have four Shark sweepers in the family and I will be purchasing another one soon. My daughter has a small one bed apartment in an older building in Chicago with hardwood floors; she loves this vacuum. She has a cat and this has all the attachments she might need to pick up the hair. She can plug it into the outlet and clean the whole apartment without unplugging it.

Nice vacuum that is easy to navigate around corners. Also has a light when vacuuming and different settings that make it nice to use. It propels itself forward, so it’s easy to push, but that also makes it a bit hard to pull. Could be lighter...

So, I shopped around for a Shark and Dyson vacuum. I compared the batter vs the corded vacuums. I ended up buying this vacuum on sale. It’s a good vacuum, glad it’s corded as a 30min battery wouldn’t be enough time to vacuum my house. Cleaning the canister is quick and easy. Taking off the floor attached is simple. Best of all it’s a light vacuum to carry around. Took off one star, unfortunately the vacuum doesn’t stand on its own!! Has to be propped up against a wall or it will fall. Overall happy with my purchase.

So first due to Black Friday pricing I got a steal paying half price. When I got it it was extremely easyy to put together I was happy about that. Then I plugged it in it want by itself, great suction and I swear I could almost vacumn with my pinky due to the fact I didn’t need to push it at all it just goes. It was bigger than I had imagined the top part I mean, being I wanted to get a small stick vacumn for my camper and I don’t have a wall in the camper for charging I decided on this. No worries I’m keeping it for the house it’s that good. Good by big bulky vacumn. I’ll figure out something for the camper.

I bought this to replace the old ball and chain type. This vacuum is lightweight and quiet. It handles the cat fur from my four kitties. I have no regrets buying it

works great, gets lots of dirt, hair, particles. light weight and steering nice. doesn't stand up by itself only drawback.

The wife loves it. It replaces an overweight Oreck. Fantastic on open floors. However I think is cumbersome in crowded spaces. As any powered head vacuum would be.
