I was not satisfied with my previous vaccum. But I purchased Shark professional Vaccum I am happy & my house is clean.

This vacuum is lightweight and perfect for homes with a lot of stairs.

Wasn't sure a vacuum so small would provide the quality I'm accustomed to, but I was pleasantly surprised and grateful. With a recent medical challenge, using a heavier vacuum wasn't working for me, so this is a great cleaning tool.

I ordered this online. A few days later it arrived. A few days after that I opened the box to find a used, filthy vacuum. I called. Customer service and spike with a rally nice gal. She apologized profusely and arranged for another to be shipped....when the one I had was returned. She said I should hear from UPS soon. Never heard from UPS, but the replacement arrived 3 days later. Before I opened the new one, I decided to try the used one to make sure I liked it. I don't. No way to adjust height for different floors. When used on tile or vinyl, the dirt just shoots out the back, doesn't pick up at all. Had to make more than a few passes to pick up obvious dirt on carpet and still wouldn't pick all of it up. Maybe the used one is a dud, but I think I'll drag them both back....my 7 year old vacuum works better.

A vacuum is a vacuum, right? So I thought a month ago. We had always owned Hoover uprights and I had never questioned their ease of use, performance, etc. A vacuum was a vacuum. While administering last rites to our two-year old Hoover it occurred to me that there may be more to vacuum cleaners than I had considered. Thus began my research process into the hitherto unexplored world of vacuum cleaners. After reading numerous reviews, we settled on this particular Shark model. When it arrived at the house as anticipated, I opened the box and mentally prepared myself for the assembly process. About two minutes and a couple of clicked together parts later, I had a functioning vacuum cleaner ready to go. Pleasantly surprised by the assembly process, I was ready to try it out. That was where I REALLY got excited. It picked up hair from our golden retriever effortlessly, the swivel feature allowed it to get into places I only dreamed of getting into with the old Hoover and it was significantly lighter than what I was used to. So at this point I am pretty pleased with our purchase. Then I decided to do the stairs. That was the exact moment when I realized we had purchased the most amazing vacuum cleaner ever created. The collection canister and motor disconnect from the wheel assembly and give you a totally portable, lightweight unit that goes anywhere and performs like a champ! Needless to say, I am very happy with this purchase. It was significantly less expensive than a (sort of roughly) comparable Hoover and outperformed our old vacuum significantly. Do not hesitate to purchase this vacuum cleaner.

I needed a new vacuum and had tried using my neighbors Dyson. I found the Dyson severely lacking, which is also outrageously priced by the way. Big box stores were yielding no results as they don't have knowledgeable personnel. So I stop at Best Buy not really looking for a vacuum and a employee there started talking to me and recommended the Shark. The shark is a winner all around. Fist its small and lightweight, my old vacuum was a monster. It's powerful, it picks up everything even when going from carpet to wood floors. And lastly but very important. It is a completely sealed system. No dust escapes this vacuum. I like that a lot. Dumping is just pressing a button, lifting out the section with the dirt trapped, holding it over the trash can and pressing another button. Simple, easy and efficient. I am very happy with the vacuum.

I had a piece of junk before buying this Shark and safe to say I am mad that I didn't get one earlier. My wife and I enjoy a clean house and this makes vacuuming a breeze with its light weight design. There is no much effort needed to move this vacuum around which makes the job go that much quicker. There is easy access to get rid of dirt and dust after each use. The attachments are easily stored and do a great job when being used. The main part of the unit detaches as well making it easier to reach hard to reach places. This is a high quality vacuum at a reasonable price.

Third time's the charm! This is my third vacuum in 6 years, but it should have been my first. The suction is awesome and the swivel action is very appreciated. I love that it's light and compact. It took me a while to decide on which one I should get. I'm very satisfied with my decision!

Wasn't going to spend $450 plus on a Dyson, just wasn't going to happen. Wanted a light upright with attachments. Went over to Best Buy and narrowed it to a couple of models, then went home and read several reviews and settled on this one. I hadn't had a new vacuum in I can't say how many years, and was pleasantly surprised at the new technology. It figures out the carpet height, has an option to turn off the brush roller to do hard floors, comes with several attachments, including a pet hair power brush. Like I've heard with the Dyson, you'll be shocked at how much you pick up on a routine weekly vacuum. And it's much quieter than the old Dirt Devil, so I am a happy camper! Oh, with a sale it was $50 cheaper than Amazon with FREE next day shipping. Yes, why drive back to the store when BB was offering.

I had never heard of Shark and was going to go with the recognized name to me (Hoover, Eureka, Bissell, Dirt Devil), but seeing it was my girlfriend who needed a vacuum, she wanted something light yet powerful and insisted on a Shark. Let me say, coming from a family who owned a Janitorial company using professional vacuums (Clark), this Rocket vacuum impressed me and is very powerful and versatile. We had just vacuumed her place the day before with a DYSON and we were both appalled at how much dirt this Shark picked up. You can't go wrong with this $150. Yes it was a little more than what I originally had planned, but after seeing this with my own eyes, am glad we bought this and actually will buy one for myself to replace my 16 year old Eureka Boss vacuum which I also had bought at BestBuy. Let me add, that this also works great on hardwood and bathroom floors just as good as it did on carpet.

This vacuum is great! Powerful, yet light weight and easy to handle and store. The swivel motion of the vacuum head makes it easy to maneuver and get to hard to reach corners and around furniture. Works great on my hardwood as well as carpet. Bagless feature is perfect and easy to use. The cord is long so never have to worry about having to switch plugs in between vacuuming. The price was awesome!

Vacuum is very light and small making it easy to get around furniture. Suction is good, the only negative is there is no place to put the attachments on the vacuum.

After using and carrying the well-known upright vacuum cleaner, we tried the Shark. We love its light weight, its ease of use and its suction. And it is easy to store.

Vacuum works well (based on initial uses); I purchased at sale price, so the product for the price was definitely worth it. Based upon competitors in same category, this was the best pick. This is not $400 vacuum, so expectations should be realistic, but included attachments are a nice feature.

this shark is great for me i'm up in years , and not very strong anymore and i use it 3 times a week. and i love love love it its not to heavy for me . it has good suction it picks really really well .i just can't say enough good about this vacuum .i would say yes buy it . i love the self per pilled .and i like the it works hard on hardwood floors .the sharks for me.. shirley from perry ohio

Love the versatility for carpet and hardwood and tile floors. Great suction power. Extra long cord is helpful! Easy to turn and navigate but takes some getting used to.

This vacuum is light weight and easy to push. Good suction especially for animal hair. It takes the work out of vacuuming.

Good Suction, Light weight and small for storage. We use it for our business, Had a shark prior always have been happy with the product.

Excuse the way this sounds. but this vacuum really sucks. Works well on all my floor surfaces, and I was surprised to see what my old vacuum was missing. I gave it 4 stars though for the following reasons...1 You have hand tools, but NO place to put them all. 2 You gotta get used to the swiveling head, it makes it feel a little clumsy. 3 There are 2 different power buttons, one for the vacuum, and one for the brush... none of which is on the handle itself. Otherwise, the vacuum is nice, lightweight, easy to push along your carpet.

The rocket vacuum is light weight, it is easy to assemble, quiet, easy to operate. So far, I have really enjoyed this purchase. The only negative thing is I don't care for the sponge that collects dirt that's located at the place you empty the dust and dirt chamber.
