I did alot of research before finally deciding on this one. I origionally wanted the Dyson, but the price and a little education from a vacuum repair man changed my mind. I am so happy with this vacuum, it does a great job, its so easy to use, all the attachments switch out easily and quikly. This makes cleaning my house almost enjoyable. I have mostly tile floors, so this is great, it does do pretty good on the carpet as well, tho my moms shark navigator lift away does have a little more suction power. It has 10 amps while this one has 6 if i remember correctly. But for what i need this for it is more than enough. The swivel head of the vacuum works great, and is very manuverable. This is a great vacuum for the money, i am very happy with it and would highly recomend to anyone.

I've had this vacuum for a month and a half now and have had no problems with it. It picks up so much dog hair--much more than any other vacuum I have owned. I love the pet power brush attachment. The attachment works really well on stairs and furniture. I like that I can take the canister part off of the bottom so that it's easier to vacuum stairs and such. The only downside is that there is no place to store the pet brush and the other long crevice on the machine and that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The vacuum is very light so that it's easy to carry. I love this vacuum and I am very satisfied.

This vacuum was very easy to assemble, is very lightweight, and picked dirt up out of the carpet my old vacuum had been missing. I filled the canister twice just in my living room. The swivel steering makes it easy to maneuver too.

I love this vacuum, it picks up lots of dirt and pet hair. My only complaint is the dirt compartment doesn't hold much so you'll need to empty it multiple times if vacuuming a large room or the whole house.

My older vacuum was heavy and hard to push and quit working. The Shark Vacuum is light weight, self propelled and made to order for this 73 yr. old lady. One pass through my apt and I had a whole cup full of dog hair. Can't wait to do my furniture today. I am thrilled with it. Thank you so much for making it affordable.

Amazing buy and can be operated by anyone in the family..

VAC IS SMALL POWERFUL AND EASY TO MOVE AROUND. FOR THE PRICE IT COMES PRETTY WELL EQUIPPED. DOWNSIDE IS ALL THE TOOLS DO NOT STORE ON-BOARD WHICH IS A BIT ANNOYING. OVERALL GREAT VAC. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR HAVING TO STORE SOME ATTACHMENTS SEPARATE.

I'm a long-time Hoover owner and found this vacuum to be the best ever. I don't have pets or small children around and I vacuum every week, so I was astounded at the amount of dirt sucked out of the carpet on the first use! I love the rotator head, very ez to use and able to get into small areas. The original assembly was a snap and it's very ez to diassemble to empty dirt cup, etc. The vacuum was on sale, so that was a plus. I am very pleased with this purchase.

We had a different Shark vacuum before this one which died. So we picked this one up, it really, really picks up the dirt better then any other vacuum we have had before.

This vacuum is awesome esp for 200 dollars. First time I used it I had to empty the bin twice and I only live in a small apt...my previous vacuum was terrible I'd admit but still an amazing vacuum

I read both the reviews as well as Q&A's. The product specifications stated it had adjustable height. It does not but rather self adjusts which I'm not quite thrilled with. The head is much narrower than most and the description being vague made no mention of width. It is an OK vacuum and it does have more side motion than a standard fixed machine but a Dyson it is not! The suction is not remarkable and it seems somewhat under-powered however it is slightly quieter than the average vacuum in its' class. Even on sale for Deal of the Day I feel like it was over priced. Wishing I would have paid the $40 more and bought a Dyson. I own a Shark steam-mop and Shark iron and hoped I would also like their vacuum but I feel disappointed with this purchase.

Too sad to say this went back to the store, even when is a great vacuum cleaner for the home it doesn't get to the hard to reach areas so when you have to clean under the bed or under the table it falls straight down to the floor; the way you would have to do it is holding the vacuum with one hand and clean with the other and this It's a complete pain, it makes your life miserable, It bothers me a lot. The idea of a great vacuum cleaner it has to be the efficiency, the power, easy to use, light weight and long hose so you can get to hard to reach areas. So this is a big fail for shark! I would recommend this if you don't have to clean under stuffs or if you don't mind hold the vacuum with one hand and do the the rest with the other. (Speaking of hard to reach areas).

No complaints so far. I am also a dyson convert. Much quieter than my dyson as well.

I thought i was clean before i got this guy! Nope, went over my two living room rugs twice to fill up the canister full both times! Wow! I have a small dog, and i shed for two, but that's why i clean like a crazy person. Great price for a fantastic vacuum cleaner!

Seems like a good buy and works well. Much cheaper than the other big brands.
