My Wife and I just adopted a dog earlier this year. Not knowing how much hair we would be dealing with, since our adorable dog Gray is a Heinz- 57 (for those who don't understand she is a mutt, a very cute mutt)! We were looking for a vacuum to replace the one we had from college to deal with the hair on the couch and all over our house. For starters this vacuum is amazing. It picked up every loose hair on our furniture, floors, and even great for our cars. Secondly if a product gets my wife excited about cleaning I already know how effective it is! Wife is happy therefor I am stupid happy! Recommend for all pet owners.

Until now, I had always bought less-expensive Hoovers and was lately not so impressed with them. This time (thanks to a great Black Friday deal) I bought this Shark, which would have cost about double the Hoover at full price. I really notice the difference in overall quality of construction and in useful features. The plastic is high-grade and sturdy, the parts snap together easily, and there are lots of options with the various attachments and the way the main canister can be detached. The suction seems good, and I like how the brush roll can be readily engaged or disengaged. The dust cup is easy to empty and does not require bags. If this vacuum cleaner holds up well over time, I will be extremely satisfied!

I'm qualified to review this since we have two dogs and a cat...AND also have the Shark Liftaway Deluxe. The deluxe has been a workhorse with all the pet hair, but wanted to try this for $99 on sale. The Deluxe is definitely built better and seems more powerful BUT this is lightweight compared to it for sure. The dust cup is smaller as well..probably not great for a big house. This still has plenty of power for most people and does a great job. I'd recommend it for exactly what it says "lightweight" jobs.

Love shark vacuums. Easy to empty and clean- can get a second set of filters at a low price and rinse and change them often! Love the lift away canister for some jobs and the basic attachments are great. Suction seems to still be great even after a year of use. Lightweight

Light weight, cleans well, fits in tight spaces. Lifts off easy to clean car or under beds or ceilings. Nice product, made well.

I got an absolutely smoking deal on the shark vacuum as it was the “deal of the day” when I purchased it. I owned a dyson before and in my opinion, the shark is every bit as good. You can put it basically flush with the ground to get under tables and beds and the detachable hand vac feature is wicked convenient. Thx Best Buy for the great deal on an amazing vac!

This vacuum is as good as the more expensive brand I own. Great suction and light weight. A great purchase.

I really like this vacuum cleaner, its light and cleaned proper way. only thing i don't like is the power cord its too lose and often comes out. Overall am happy with this product.

Being light does not make it inferior. Easy to use and gets the job done. Does not take up much space and with the on sale price, you can't beat it.

Purchased this vac for my son's dorm room and now he uses it in his apartment. Very powerful for the price and easy to use. The attachments are easy to use as well. Definitely worth the price paid.

We recently bought one of these for our house as my wife hated our other vacuum because it was so heavy even though I do most of the house cleaning. The Shark does a fantastic cleaning job and is so light I find myself vacuuming twice a week now just because it is fun. After using it for a few weeks I saw that Best Buy had the Deal of the Day deal again so we decided to buy this second one for my wife's parents who are in their 80's and gave it to them as a gift. They love it. So much lighter than the old heavy Kirby they have had for some 40 years. Actually thinking of buying a second one for our house to have in our finished basement. The only thing I would like is if the cord was longer but that is very minor.

Very light and easy to use and maneuvers very well. Works great on bare floors and carpet and rugs. Dirt compartment isn't big enough to do whole house but is very easy to empty out .

This vacuum cleaner works magnificent and it’s quiet. I’m an 80’s kid, I remember the vacuum cleaner were really, I mean reallly loud. This vacuum cleaner doesn’t make much of a sound, doesn’t seem to bother my 2 month son! Highly recommend, wether it’s on sale or not, highly recommend.

Bought this vacuum to replace my old eureka vacuum. Works like a charm, quieter than my old vacuum and it’s easy to dump and clean the canister. Great buy!

LOVE these Shark vacuums. Bought one last year for my main house and it was so good I bought a 2nd one for our summer cottage. Prefer the lightweight feel of 2nd one. the suction of both is unbelievable and I get up tons of pet hair. Super easy wand release helps get in window sills and floor corners, too.

We love this vacuum, it was very easy to setup and works perfectly on our plush carpet. has a lot more power than our old bissel vacuum.

my wife wanted a smaller vac for upstairs that could handle both carpet and hardwood, but could be used on stairs too. After looking at several, this seemed to be able to do it all and was priced well. This was replacing a broken Bissell upright and it does everything well. The dirt collection bin is pretty small, but its quick and easy to empty - and it seems appropriately sized to the vac.

This Shark vacuum is easy to handle, with a few extra features that make it really nice to use. I've only used it on a bare carpet and plush one, but it's done great on both. Comes with 4 different tools, crevice tool, a brush, a hardwood/laminate floor attachment, and another one.

Was amazed at the power this vacumn has. Does a wonderful job on carpet as well as attachments for tile and hardwood.
