I was highly satisfied with this product's appearance, functionality, build quality, and ease of use. Straight out of the box the device is ready to go, requiring no external power supply or driver setup, which puts it far ahead of many comparable devices. The cable length provided is very generous, allowing for placement virtually anywhere on the desk or workstation, while not being so long as to get tangled in itself. The entire unit feels incredibly well-built, from the thick gauge wire to the solid click of the power button, and seems like it would stand up well to years of travel and use. The built in surge protection and LED indicator light are awesome features that help you conserve power and protect connected devices. After running this USB Hub through a multitude of tests with various devices, I'm happy to have found that essentially no loss of performance can be seen even under the most strenuous of loads with multiple devices operating simultaneously. After having used (and replaced) several similar products in the past, I look forward to many productive years with this sturdy USB Hub.

Like so many people out there, I have multiple devices I need to plug into my computer. I am big on backing things up to external hard drives, so this just fit the bill. Very easy to use (really is plug and play). Now I can leave this hub plugged in to my PC, then switch out my many portable drives, as needed. Great Product.

It is easy to use and does not weigh much. The cord helps in giving distance to the laptop.

I purchased to use with my iMac. The additional USB 3.0 ports, gives me the flexibility to charge my devices or connect external HDDs, without tying up all the ports on the back of the computer. What I like most about this hub, it doesn't require additional power to work. The price isn't bad either.

I am giving 4 stars because one of the ports ramdomly fails, 10% of the times, the others three are connecting alway to my devices (Scanner, CD and additional Backup disk without any problem. Working fine last 3 weeks.

I purchased my new Lenovo from Best Buy and I love it. Unfortunately it has only 2 USB ports. The Shark's additional 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub is just what I have been looking for. The quick shipping and price could not be beat.

Received the item on time - plugged right in without any hassle. Be aware that it has an on/off button which can be useful or an issue if hit accidentally

This little hub is great for saving space and utilizing any 3.0 USB port. My PC unfortunately had only one 3.0 port and I have two 3.0 hard drives, so now, I can utilize both hard drives potential to their max. Yes, the push button can get tedious at times with accidental turn off by slipping onto it from time to time, but well worth it. That's the only reason I couldn't give it a full five. A definite recommend though!

Works well with my iMac and provides a convenient place to connect external devices. 3.0 is fast.

Cord is a little stiff but it works pretty well with my macbook and does what it needs to do.

Like the on/off button with light to have better control of unit connections with tablet!

Needed this to plug in cordless keyboard, mouse, microphone and phone and still have everything work.

My HP tablet doesn't have full-sized USB ports, so you will need an adapter for it. If you have one, this adds the necessary USB space to have an external hard drive and regular mouse for working at a desk. A little unwieldy for travel though.

The USB 3.0 hub works as expected. I've used it to charge my phone & smartwatch, connect a usb 3.0 external hard drive and an external DVD player to watch a movie. No issues. I purchased one for my in-laws to use with their new laptop too.

This was exactly what I needed. The file transfer is much faster and I can use more than one flash drive. Also works with a wireless mouse.

product was slow to charge anything, and stopped working all together 2 weeks after purchase, would not recommend
