This has been a great product for my slate flooring. I have been amazed at well it works using nothing but steam. I would definitely consider purchasing other Shark steam products after my positive experiences with the Professional Steam Pocket Mop.

Bought this mop with some trepidation since consumer reviews seemed to be either very good or very bad. So far, my experience fits in the " very good" category. Although the steam doesn't remove old ground-in stains and scuff marks on my very old wood floors, it does clean and sanitize them. I was surprised and very pleased at how quickly the floors dried -- almost instantly. I have my fingers crossed that the mop will continue performing well.

I was skeptical about using any steam mop because I have slate floors which are uneven and hard to clean, but this machine does the trick! I use it on my wood and ceramic tile floors as well, its the best!

I don't always like using cleaners to clean the floors so the steam technology is what i needed for that spot cleaning. Easy to use and not chemical residue that can you have to be concerned about for pets or children.

Would totally recommend this item I only wish that it came with the detachable arm that you can clean your appliances and other home surfaces with. It doesn't seem like a "as seen on TV" product it's sturdy and durible. You have to sweep/vacuum prior but when used just for mopping and sanitizing it is great! Liked the Shark product so much that I just bought the Shark Lift Away Vacuum instead of spending the money on a Dyson. It is awesome!

Right out of the box the Steamer worked great. We are very pleased with its performance. Thank you for the speed of the delivery.

I get what I wanted. Has three settings although some more features would have helped.

Haven't used it a lot, but works very well in my limited experience. The only issue I have is that it seemed to leave the floors dull-looking, not shiny. The floor was very clean. It did a great job on the mud the dog tracked in.

Great product, cleans like a dream! Does a GREAT job on tile as well as carpet.

I was excited about getting this product because I have seen the infomercials and had a steam cleaner in the past (different brand), I was happy about the three settings and it works well, but really sad about the dull look. My old steam cleaner left my floor shiny but this one leaves it looking very dull and streaky so now after I steam clean, I have to use a floor polisher as well (double work). The only thing I like that keeps me from returning it is that my floors are sanitized.

I was looking for a small machine to replace my huge Bissell multi surface floor machine, but now I realize that won't happen. THe first time I used this machine, I did not see much dirt on the pads. We do not wear shoes in our house, but I know floors get dirty anyway, as I have seen this first hand. Thus, I went over the floors again, but with more elbow grease. A little more came up and the floors looked like they might be clean but I decided to give it the white glove test. When I wiped some of the tiles with a wet white towel, tons of dirt came off. THe only thing this machine did, was smear dirt. Maybe it sanitized the dirt, but I want clean floors. I tried it a few more times, because it had such great reviews from others, but to no avail. Needless to say, I went over the large area of tiles with my Bissell proHeat... Now my floors are clean. It kind of makes sense that this method does not work. You need water to spray on the floor and something to suck up the dirty water, as a pad just attracts it and spreads it. Buyer Beware!

My Oreck steamer broke, and I thought why not try this one based on the reviews. I am very disappointed with this steamer. It does not work half as well as the Oreck Steam It. I will be returning this one and paying the extra $50 to go get another Oreck. The water capacity is small, you must use the highest setting to get any amount of cleaning, and you must scrub vigorously back and forth to get the floors clean. Not so with my other steamer. A huge difference in ability.

This mop works pretty good, and you can finish cleaning very quickly

We have been very pleased with this product. It's basically a short cut that works.

This "mop" takes a long time to work. I find myself dragging it accross the floor at a snail's pace before I start to see any dirt on the pad. You should allocate an extra hour or two for mopping if you want to use it. After all of that, I can't tell that my floors are any cleaner.

I bought this steamer to clean steam clean mattresses and floors. It worked well for steaming the mattresses, didn't get as hot as had hoped. Used it on my floors once and now it will not work. The second time I tried to use it... I let it heat up for about 5 minutes and it will not even stay on the dust setting. So I let it heat up longer and still would not even stay on the dust setting. This product is junk ...I do not recommend it and I will never buy another Shark of any model. I bought the Pro thinking I was going to get more cleaning power...should have known better.

Mine broke down exactly one year after the one year warranty expired. I contacted customer service for trouble shooting and followed instruction to clean with a paper clip. Still didn't work. They did offer to send a new one for the price of $79+shipping and taxes. No thanks.
