needed a mircowave...bought a microwave. Sharp is the only way to go.

This a good microwave oven for the price. It does basically the same as a higher price one. I find it a bit louder than others but is not that bad.

This microwave heats up your food quick and works great.

So far so good. I was looking for something that wasn't super fancy, just an average microwave and this did the trick. It's a little bigger than I wished, but best buy only carried 2 under $100 and I didn't need a microwave that was $150. But I understand they want you to spend the most $ possible. Very slick move by them, but this one does the job, probably just as good as a $200 one.

I bought for my daughter who just moved out and has no cooking experience. She loves it and it was a great first experience.

I bought this to replace another Sharp that lasted 12 years. The old one had an auto cook feature, too. However, the old one had a sensor that could tell when the food was done. The new version of auto cook has you enter the amount of food and it figures out an appropriate time. Not nearly as good. The old one: One push of the frozen vegetables and it would cook them perfectly. This one, you enter the weight and hope you got it right. Disappointing, and deceitful in that auto cook sounds like it is, well, automatic. This is a pain, and a chart printed on the oven with suggested times would be as easy. P.S. The too short cord supplied meant I had to buy an extension.
