Q: Is there a light inside of the microwave? Does it come on when you open the door?
A: Thank you for your interest in the R309YW. The internal lamp only turns on when microwave is in use.

Q: How long is the power cord?
A: Not very long - about 3 feet. Other than the light, that's the only downside I've seen so far.

A: Great question! We would like to clarify a few things regarding the timer feature of the R309YW Sharp microwave. You will be able microwave items for specific timeframes. The microwave does come equipped with a timer. The microwave signal audio beep for timer end cannot be turned off.

A: Great question! The glass tray, also called a turntable tray, is the circular-shaped, clear glass tray that you set your plate of food on to heat it. The roller guide is a plastic piece under the tray that keeps it turning so that the heat is equally distributed to your food.
