    I was looking for a simple and small microwave to replace my grandmothers. This was adequate but 1/8" of an inch too tall to go where it was needed. Totally my fault. Decent product and serves it's purpose.

    The last Sharp Carousel microwave we had lasted us at least 15 years, and hopefully this will get us through more than that. If it does, we couldn't ask for more from a microwave.

    decent microwave. the only negative thing about the microwave is that when you open the door it does not light up. it only lights up when you are microwaving food

    Brought this Sharp microwave home and pugged it in and the front panel came to life as it should. After a few minutes it went dead. Unplugged it and after a few minutes pugged it in again and everything seemed fine. After a few days of use I noticed that even on 100% power the magnatron was cycling on and off like it was on 60-70% power. Unplugged it and after about 30 minutes plugged it back in and 100% power now was working properly. A few days later the turntable started making a noticeable noise. Seemed like it might have been the mechanical linkage to the turntable spindle. Returned it. What happened to Sharp? Use to make good quality microwaves.
