We had our last Sharp Carousel microwave for 13 years so we wanted to stay with same manufacturer. We read a lot of reviews and some said there was no timer - wrong. Ours has a timer. Also said the light didn't come on when the door was open, only when cooking. Again wrong. The only time the light isn't on is when the microwave isn't running or has just finished. We definitely noticed an increase in power. When warming up a bottle for our 5 month old, it took almost 40 seconds, now it only take 30 and the 1 touch button for 30 seconds is great. It it surprisingly quiet as well. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the popcorn button. Our old one was amazing and popcorn came out perfect every time. We are hoping for another 10+ years out of this one as well. We really like the child lock feature because our 2 year old son helps and we don't want him accidentally putting something in there that doesn't belong. Overall a great microwave so far and we would definitely recommend to a friend.

It's not friendly user. I had A sharp microwave before this one. I want my money back!!!!

Sharp has always been a great company, I did not think their microwave would work as well as it does. The size is good and it heats up my food like it should. I do recommend this product for the price and quality.

This item is not worth the money. Spend your money on something else.

Because of it's size and features, we purchased this microwave for our college bound daughter. So far it's holding up rather well.

I purchased this microwave to replace an old Sharp microwave I've had since early 2000s. What I really love about this microwave is how well it runs and how it looks atheistically. It looks like an iPod microwave! It heats food up well. Overall, its just a great & reliable microwave!

We went through 2 GE microwaves in 2 years so wanted to try another brand. We have been using this a few months and it works great. Hopefully it will last awhile. The only suggestions I have for improvement are: 1. Needs a light when you open the door, not just when running. This would help when checking the food and cleaning. 2. Our previous microwaves beeped once a minute after done. This was helpful to notify you when a time needed to rest in microwave was over.

It is a good microwave overall but not sure why the light inside remains switched off when I open the door. Also it does not allow me to simply key in 15 sec or any number of seconds manually as other microwaves do.

I read bad reviews on amazon, but some are old, I still have a sharp microwave that is 15 years old and still working ,so I expect this to last a long time best buy price was $35 less than amazon and free shipping, on sale and shipping only took 2 days I would not hesitate to buy a sharp product

This microwave has all the basic features that we wanted and a very reasonable price. We are pleased with our purchase.

I purchased this Sharp after our old Sharp microwave that lasted for many years finally gave out. I like the power that this unit has. It does a good job defrosting and heating/reheating items. I liked the old microwave because it had a sensor for cooking and defrosting so this new one that does not have this feature still works fine once you learn how to set it. A good microwave for the price and so far so good as we have had it for a few weeks.

I had some space constraints when looking for a microwave, and wanted a white one to match other kitchen appliances. The Sharp fit nicely into the space I had allocated for it. The price was reasonable and it works very well. It seems to have more than enough power to heat effectively and has a rotating tray for even heating. There is a light inside that stays on when the oven is operating. It does not light when the door is open. The oven also has the feature which easily adds time in 30 second increments. I've had it about a month now, with no issues.

Clean and simple design. Very easy to set and operate.

I have only had this Sharp Microwave for a short time. I think for the price you cannot go wrong. It has many features of the higher priced ones. It's easy to use and very nice looking. I would have given it 5 stars but the glass tray is not as easy to place as my last Sharp. It could be improved. I went with a Sharp again because my last one lasted 14 years. I am very apply with my purchase.

I just bought this, but I'm taking it back today. The oven works, it's not too noisy, and I initially bought it because it's a bit smaller than most of the other 1000+ watt ovens. The one thing that ruined it for me is that the interior light doesn't come on when you open the door - only when it's cooking. I thought maybe that wouldn't be a deal-breaker, but it is. No light makes it impossible to see if anything splattered, and it's just dumb! First world problem, I know, but I'd rather have one with a light that comes on when you open the door, so back it goes!

Cool and great to use for the price that it is, great patato setting

This is a very good, value-priced basic microwave that does everything you'd expect a microwave to do ... except light the interior when the door is open! It lights up when cooking, saw you can watch your food cook (exciting, eh?) But not when you want to take the food out or clean the oven. I can't even imagine out how little money was saved by omitting this feature.that I have taken for granted on every microwave I have ever owned since the 70s.

This microwave is stylish and functions easily. It cooks food quickly & is nicely sized. It was very reasonably priced & is not loud when in use.

We bought this for our daughters new home as they have very limited space on their counter, it works very well, some of the controls take a little getting used to as there is no way to add a minute only 30 seconds at a time and if you want to cook something for 1.5 minutes you have to press the power button first then add the time, kind of frustrating. But the microwave cooks well and is still working after 6 months so not bad so far.
