bought this item on sale. It was a great price and good microwave

Purchased this for a vacation cabin. Seems to zap food nicely, but the auto cook buttons are pre-programmed for specific serving sizes, that cannot be changed. The manual basically states, "push auto button three times to cook potatoes, for three units of potatoes." You cannot change it. So if you want one it is mush at 9+ minutes, or four are not done. Terrible engineering, making those buttons almost useless. Same for soup button, 12 oz. only, so it either is cold or boiling over if you don't want 12 oz. Vegetables...7 oz. only. I wondered why in the ratings for the white one, everyone said it overcooked the potatoes...now I know why, as they probably were cooking one or two. So if your family fits their design for serving size for every occasion, it might be handy, but otherwise, you'll have to guess at the time and power level and skip the auto cook buttons. Disappointed since usually happy with Sharp products.

I feel like I am in microwave he**. My GE died after over 10 years of use multiple times each day. Bought a different brand. Door latch broke at a little over 2 months old. Waiting for repair on that one. Bought this one as a backup until mine could get fixed. Worked great until this morning, when it would not heat my parrots breakfast. Can't believe that I got two defective microwaves, but there is no other explanation, as I do take care of my microwaves (evidenced by the age of my GE). This was a great microwave when it worked for 6.5 days.

Works great for everyday use. Good value for the price.

Everything about the microwave is fine. The short cut keys are the nicest feature.

It works, but the interior light only works when the microwave starts vs when the door opens.

I bought this microwave on 10/10-05/2014 after 6month stop working. I only used for warming food. I send it back to sharp company and they send me another one, I got it on 04/07/2015 and just stop working on 06-22-2015 only 2 month. The problem is start making some sparkling hising sound,

Purchase for my dad. He used for warming food. I was tired of the Brandsmart microwaves going out every year. I had a warranty and they would change. This time I paid more at Best buy. It lasted past the warranty date then went out.

Does good job of heating...interior light only on when heating... Plate comes off track

I cooking everything and until now all is perfect i dont have oven so this is the only way to cook for me

Died after one use. Returned it. My first Sharp carousel compact was purchased in 1993. It stopped working June 19, 2015. I purchased this new one thinking Sharp was a good product due to past experience. I was very disappointed in this microwave. It even short circuited a surge protector. My next purchase will not be a brand name. Perhaps, Sharp no longer take pride in there product.

Even though Sharp customer service says they'll call me back to replace the unit, I still can't recommend this model--discovered that this is a common issue (do an internet search and you'll see).

Bought microwave 3 years ago and worked well until one night when I noticed it no longer heated my food. I called Sharp and they recommended plugging and unplugging, but no solution. I guess I know in the future to not buy a Sharp if I want to keep something for a few years since I have not heard of anyone else I know having a microwave die so soon.

The Sharp 1.1 cubic microwave has been working great. The extra features...such as automatic timing...are very time-saving and easy to use. I wish it was a heavier oven as it tends to move around too easily on the counter.

Door is very cheap doesn't latch well. The turn table didn't turn and the cheap plastic feet were uneven so it rocked. The best part was the cooking power. It cooked with such hot spots it melted a spot out of one of my bowls and ruined the food. Right out the box, you can tell it was made cheap and it broke after the first use!!!! THE FIRST USE! Buy ANYTHING else. I wouldn't recommend this one even to my enemies.

This microwave is better than my last one. It has many "one touch" features which make use of this product easy.

I'm glad I found a microwave that has a round open door button.

Too small for some plates to rotate. Otherwise great!
