    Bought it due to good reviews, died in < 1 year

    I bought this solely because of the good reviews here. It worked just fine for a few months but just totally blew up today. After it stopped working we noticed that the cord was extremely hot and smelled like something burned. We bought it about 8 months ago. One of our worst purchases ever!

    Only lasted a week

    I had it cooking for 6 min. Then less than a minute later I put in a veggie steam bag for 4 min. It over heated and died. We've had it for a week. My old microwave had no problems with this. Glad it happened in the return time. Its going back.

    Good microwave..unless you want it to last

    I bought this microwave from my local store in August 2012. It worked great, but it just up and died on me a few days ago. I will not buy anything from Sharp again.

    Not the quality I expected

    Our first Sharp microwave lasted 15 years. This one Overheated on the 17th day (2 days after the return policy). After it cools down it will work again. Have had it 2 months now and it has overheated about 4 times. It is time to look for a different brand.

    The microwave stopped working after 2 weeks

    I was happy at first with the product. The exactly two weeks to the day we brought it home, it stopped heating up. It took forever to reheat food if it did at all. I was very disappointed and took it back. I decided to pay more and upgrade to a better quality product. I am very disappointed in Sharp.

    This nice looking microwave stopped heating after 3 days of minimal use. This came as a surprise to me since all other Sharp products I own are 5-star.

    Don't buy this or anything from Sharp. Sharp does not provide positive "customer relations" under any circumstances. I wouldn't wish what I've gone through on my worst enemy. Well - maybe my worst enemy - and that's as close to this comes to a good review!!!!

    Broken door lock mechanism

    Purchased 12/5/15 as a Christmas gift. In September 2016 the door closing mechanism quit working. The door will no longer stay closed. Expensive microwave for only 9 months of use. Do not recommend.

    The worst microwave i had

    Two days after buying it the mw started turning off , it started smelling like heated plastic, and then we had to let it cool off after every two minutes ! I returned it immediately!
