So far we have been unable to connect the Sharp sound bar to our Sharp tv. Called Geeks for help... for $199 they would help. Short of that they offered to transfer me to my manufacturer. ... after waiting 10 minutes Sony said "this is Sony how can we help you?" SONY????? Thanks for nothing Geeks. I looked up Sharps phone number myself. They recommend using an optical cable.... I ordered it from Amazon. If that works maybe we will keep this sound bar, if not we will return this great Christmas gift idea gone so badly wrong. Pretty frustrated at this point since it is touted as "single cable easy hook up". NOT.

I have never had a system like this before. Very cool.

I looked at this when I bought my 60" LG tv and it was the best sounding sound bar on display. I saw it on a Best Buy daily deal for $199 and couldn't pass it up. I bought it to replace my old Bose 321 which I moved to the garage/man cave. The Bose sounded better for music but the Sharp is a better setup up for watching movies. The bass is ok when listening to music but the system really shines when watching a movie. I could feel all the bass like i do at a theater! I also wanted to stream music from my phone via BT. I think using BT for music is why the sound is good not great but still worth the trade off of not having a wire. I connected it to the tv via the HDMI ARC and it works great. There is a little lag of the sound coming on when i turn the tv on but being able to control everything with one remote rocks! I'm glad i waited and was able to get this at such a great price. I suggest checking the daily deals often, you just never know. I also bought the 60" LG 4k on a daily deal from Best Buy. If it's not on sale... I just wait ;-)

Open box item didn't get a remote when it said everything was there. Store gave me one but it wasn't capitable to work all the functions

We found that is was difficult to get set up at first even following the directions. We have a Sharp 65" tv and love it so we figured we'd stay within the same brand. Recently we've been having troubles with the sound breaking up and sounding choppy sometimes so we only use it when watching movies or games at home and that's if we can get it to work.

Have had problems with turning on and off. Sharp customer service is not very helpful

Couldn`t hear soft dialog on movie well enough to catch it all even at max. level

I bought this sound bar yesterday to replace my receiver and surround sound. I could not be happier! Not only have I eliminated tons of wires running everywhere. The sound is excellent! It was so easy to set up and I've used it connected to my phone during a party and to watch tv/movies. I like the easy adjustment to adjust the audio based on what you are listening too. That makes a huge difference.

The sound bar works ok. The blue tooth sub woofer will not stay connected for more than a couple minutes. My direct tv remote will not control the sound bar so I have to keep the bar remote nearby. I can not recommend this product to anyone.

Used this sound bar and sub almost daily for almost 7 years with no issues. As it’s aging it has started to make a bit of a clicking noise. I’m very happy with how well it’s performed over the years. If it wasn’t for the clicking noise that just started happening I’d have kept it rocking. The sub provided great sounds in a large living room with 19’ ceilings. When I do finally replace this I will have gotten a great value out out it.

Great sounding soundbar. Fills up a large family room with sound. Really easy to connect. Comes factory preset in showroom mode which won't allow it to turn off. After carefully reading the directions, found out how to set it to home use, or ECO mode and now works great. Also had a slight lag effect with sound to my 4k Ultra HD TV. Read in directions how to adjust the AV processing rate on the soundbar and now is working and sounding great. Bluetooth easy to setup. Range is ok not great, but works fine. Very happy with the purchase. Comepares in sound quality to soundbars costing double. Would highly recommend this product.
