Really a nice stereo for the bedroom, sound so-so good.

I have no complaints works very good so far had it only for a 2 mo.

I needed a good system mainly for CDs and this wasn't reading CDs that another brand system was able to read.

We were please to be able to get what we were looking for.

The only way to turn it off is to pull the plug. When pressing the power button, the stereo screen shows "Goodbye" and then a second later "Hello" . I bought this for my parents as it had all the features they wanted. The descriptions over the buttons are extremely small and you need a magnifying glass to see what they are. The sound is good, though.

Very unhappy with. Buttons not very responsive. Sound very tinny.

OK DOES WHAT I NEED IT TO DO. HOPE IT LASTS AS LONG AS MY LAST ONE.

Bought this system just under 3 months ago. Noticed a few glitches with use - one was with the cassette player, but basically because the tapes were so old, I assumed that the cassettes themselves were at fault. Last night it began to balk at playing CDs, 5 of which I usually load at a time. Tried to remove them - HUGE PROBLEM!! One tray opened just a bit but made a hasty retreat... grabbed it when it opened once again and snagged the CD. None of the others open or respond and the control reverts back to the initial tray, the one I emptied. Now I can't get the other 4 CDs out. Think I'll take it to the customer service desk and have them crack it open. NO, I WILL NOT ASK FOR A REPLACEMENT. I will ask for a refund.

The random play on cd's only randomly plays one cd at a time. Not all 5 at once. Radio won't stay on for long without a perfect signal. Too complicated to program timer etc. Must have patience for this system. I wouldn't buy it again.

My purchase did not include the remote or instruction manual (they could not find either). The salesman suggested I could print the instruction manual by going online, which I did. I followed the instructions for using the CD and got a "could not read" CD error. After reading the instructions, I could see that the lack of a remote prevented me from electing out of the extra bass. I am going back in to see about getting a credit for the purchase of a replacement CD player.

The sound was very poor, the fm signal even with a antenna was very weak and the unit would shut down after 15 minutes and I would have to turn it back on. I called sharp and they did not have a fix for it. Do not buy this unit.

Stereo is good size, very compact for everything you get, but speakers wires could be longer otherwise they are to close together. Plays CD's and ipod with no problems so far. But it does keep turning itself off when playing the radio. Haven't checked into this yet, want to see if it does it again. So far I would recommend this stereo, but want to see if it keeps turning itself off.

THE DISC PLAYER IS OK BUT CAN NOT GET ANY RADIO STATIONS, AND IT DID NOT COME WITH AN FM ANTENNA, AND THE AM ANTENNA DOES NOT WORK EITHER

One month after purchasing a stereo, the tape player doesn't work. WIRES are visibly sticking out inside the tape player.

the machine would not shut off. Also kept saying I had CDs in it and I still had the shipping tape on it.

I bought this as a gift for my stepdad. He is older and needed something simple and that had a cd changer, am/fm. The tape was a plus, however not used often. The iPod dock was a big hit because I just so happened to have an old iPhone he could use for pandora. Made his and my moms day.

Sound is loud and muffled cd drawers would not play new cd's, Item was open box, was told remote found on top of player worked with radio-it did not. No directions. Was told item had been checked out thoroughly and everything worked, not true
