The stereo is great. It has good sound and not a bad bass but, you can't add any other speakers. Also mine seams to have a mind of its own because all of a sudden it turns off, I don't know if it's just that I got a lemon or what. Going to back to the store and hope that they can fix it or give me one that works correctly.

The sound quality coming from the unit is better than expected. Was looking for a system that could play multiple CDs, and this one has the functions and sound quality for small to medium size rooms.

Bought this 2 months ago,,,,, my old one broke and I missed my music. I love base and this has good base and good volume if I want it, Sound is crisp. Have tried all functions except cassette and all work well. Radio, CD, and Iphone Ipod. Also has a remote which is nice. I highly reccommend this stereo.... I'm very pleased with it. Only thing it doesn't have is turn table.

I replaced an older stereo unit with the big speakers and cabinet with this compact unit. This unit produces a great sound from a small package, and the size makes it very easy to locate it out of the way. I should have made thispurchase a long time ago!

Speakers can only be separated approximately 6 ft. Type of connector does not allow additional wire to be added without splicing which voids the warranty. Can not spread out speakers to get maximum stereo effect. No random on CD changer. I do like the sound quality.

This stereo sounds great for the price ! Bought to replace older garage radio and wanted to access ipod. Very pleased overall....great sound quality, nice features and decent looks. Only negative is poor radio reception to which I added a better(than one included) grade dipole antenna.....problem solved.

Still use this product to this day. Has lasted for many years and has been a life-changer for music fan like myself.

We have a cottage in obx where we needed to update our sound system(s). We have one upstairs in the great room; the other down for poolside/tiki bar listening. The biggest reason for the update was to have ipod function for everyone who no longers carries around 'cd wallets', although it has cd/cassette and am/fm function. It sounds pretty good, although to be honest, we hooked up the one poolside with our KLH outdoor speakers that have been in place for 9 years now and it rocks! The biggest issue we have is that for some reason, Best Buy never puts these little systems on sale, so we spent just shy of $400 for the two.

I wanted a system for my bedroom. This one has a clear sound with ample bass for the area. The price was within my budget.

We are very impressed with the quality and sound of this player. It does more than advertised, and is user friendly. We do wish the remote didn't have so many tiny buttons. We were very blessed that it has a flash drive option as well.

I love the sound quality of this stereo. I also love the fact that there is a cassette player as well as the 5 disc cd player. I enjoy my new stereo.

It seems so hard to find an "old school" home stereo system where everything isn't bluetoothed or wireless so I don't have to have another product to get this to work.

Not only do I have a tape player and CD and Ipod and Radio but now also have my record player hooked up through the audio in. So I have more options in one system then I have ever had. The ONLY bad thing I will say is that it only has a treble and bass control. I would have liked a full equalizer band.....But for 230 bucks shipped to my door my 40th birthday will be filled with all the music I own through one system for the first time ever.....OH - and my computer will also be going in when I get the audio cable I ordered so make that 6 full systems....

Every thing with unit was good, but speaker wires are short. Then the it quit playing CDs 5 months after the initial 1 year warranty expired.. If you have CDs in when it quits working you may have to disassemble to get them out, I called sharp all I can do is take it to Austin, TX about 1.5 hour drive to a service center. I guess I will be buying a different unit.

Reasons that I bought this stereo: - Plays MP3 from CDs and USB flash drive - Cassette player - Remote control - IPod dock - Digital radio - 5-disc CD changer - X-bass stereo Irritations since I bought it: - FM radio antenna, even tried a different one, does not pick up radio stations further than 20 miles from my house. I never had this problem with any other stereo in the past. - 5-Disc CD changer is noisy when changing discs - Playing mp3 from CDs does not work so fast if you have a lot on 1 disc - Cannot get IPod Touch v2 to play through stereo. It charges it though. Even with the irritations, it sounds pretty good and was a good deal when on-sale. Best options that I could find for the price. I plan to contact Sharp about the FM radio and IPod problems.

We have one in our shop and one in our home. The sound is great and a reasonable price.

It playseverything; from old school cassette to Ipod today. It was one of my daughter's chosen birthday gift request...and she picked her toy well. She's very satisfied and uses it everyday. The sound quality is awesome. I guessed the only thing, which is really not a problem, is how the speakers could not be attach to the main body like those other regular boombox that you can carry around and to the park, for example. Overall, it's FANTASTIC.

Great sound! Love the set up for iPod and iPhone! I would recommend this system.

Bought for my daughter 7 years ago. Put in her bedroom and still uses occasionally. Now she streams from her phone. Oh well.
