I struggled with this TV since day one. I replaced a smaller Sharp TV for this larger one so it was all set up to go with cabling, hook-ups etc. It quickly started to "lose signal", go black, show error, then reconnect and show content (Cable TV). The extent of this issue would change, sometimes it would work for an hour, sometimes it wouldn't work at all. I tried every conceivable configuration and settings. If I connected cable box directly to the TV (Not through a stereo fearing HDMI-CEC issues between the two devices - which I tried to remedy through settings with no luck) - then it would maintain picture, but the audio would then lag the the action, drastically. Very disappointing and frustrated. Taking the TV back.

When watching a program or playing a game, the TV screen will suddenly have white “snow” on it and a piercing noise is the only thing that can be heard. You can’t even power the TV down with the remote.

I bought this TV 11/30/18 and the sound went out 5/19. I contacted Sharp/Hisense in June for assistance and the TV is still broken. Best Buy would not take the TV back. I'm still waiting for Hisense support to assist. Hisense support is terrible. I've spent 3 months trying to get help with a broken $1000 TV. I bought the 75" SHARP TV because I own an older 60" Sharp TV that works great. Hisense now owns Sharp and it is NOT the same quality. Buyer Beware!! I will never buy a Hisense product again. Poor quality product and even WORSE support.

I’ve had this TV for 2 years and have a couple of complaints. The internet reception that is built into the TV is horrible. I can use a Firestick with no issues, but when using any app downloaded from the Android store there is a lag/delay. Now there is a thick green stripe on the bottom of my TV that will not go away. I tried multiple display settings with no succeeds. This TV is junk.

Right at 2 years (and some days) the tv did a loud pop with a static image and loud static noise. It has to be shut off and restarted.

Had this TV for 2 years and it died. Sharp will not replace the TV. $1000 for a TV that last 2 years. Stay far away.

Ok. This is a weird television. Its been a week now. I had to factory reset a couple of times the first day. At first it seemed there was no "processing" happening. Just a very flat picture. The motion enhancement settings did absolutely nothing. Side by side, my 65 inch Sharp which was blowing it away. Out of nowhere the picture just came to life and looked awesome. After a while it happened again. Very flat and lifeless. Two factory resets later all is good. Its been stable since. Now picture quality. Yes there is light bleed. Its gotten much better after picture adjustments and tightening all the screws around the back of the tv. Some were extremely loose. I'm pretty sure this is an IPS panel. Great colors and viewing angles but lower contrast on darker movie scenes. Completely normal. You cant fault the tv for that. It is what it is. It can get blindingly bright but that will only enhance the light bleed in darker rooms so be careful with the backlight setting. Picture out of the box SUCKS. For picture settings start with either Theater or Calibrated. These settings apply to HD and 4k sources. Not HDR or Dolby Vision. Backlight=78 (Thats more than enough. Lower to taste.) BacklightDynamicControl=Off (Low may help with light bleed but you may loose some peak brightness) Contrast=60 Brightness=50 Color =45 Tint=0 Sharpness=8 (Personal preference) Advanced Settings Color Temperature=Mid-Low Motion Enhancement=Clear All noise reduction off Active contrast=low (Mid or High will give black crush) I did not touch anything under calibration settings. For reference, I adjusted these settings to match the picture of my Samsung UN82MU8000. Colors, contrast and brightness. were dead on. The Samsung has a VA panel so it beats the Sharp hands down on dark movie scenes. Anyway, I hope this helps anyone trying to decide on keeping or returning their new tv. Good luck.

Owned aquos 52" from 2009 and very happy with the performance until date, so i have limited knowledge about other tv's. I was watching prices for 75" and budget of 1200ish, so this deal was great. i got it at 999 on the 10th of November, so amazing deal! Usage is 99% youtube and yupp tv so with HD quality where it is, the output exceeds expectations. gives sort of 3D effect. no dead pixels, no clouds on dark scenes. sound is amazing for theater, music options, and google assistant picks up voice commands appropriately. was packaged well and labeled "Made in mexico". remote has buttons for apps so thats great as well. been 3 days wall mounted to a home depot sold full motion XD2476. will wait and explore. since i have limited knowledge of peers which are priced more, i cant compare.

Saw a Sharp Aquos for such a cheap price you say to yourself let's get it because it's a Sharp but then you get it home and turn it on and notice this tv has a terrible back light bleed at least 1 inch around the border, you adjust all the settings and it's still there, you then hook up your cable and notice a 2 sec audio lag. After 6 days fiddling with the settings I finally gave up and returned it for the Samsung, I will be on Samsung review in 7 days to tell you about that tv. I gave it a 2 star because, the picture is great if you can live with the backlight issue and the Android apps work fine.

Tv picture is absolutely gorgeous in fact you must tome down the brightness to avoid headaches. Thats the huge problem though, the remote has no menu option and you must scoll through 5 internet loading tabs of nonsense just to get to input controls or picture adjustments! Awful setup and this TV has been the bain of my existence!!! Never buying Sharp again!
