This is not for everyone. This tv is for the person that already has the right sound system, and smart gadgets. If you do, or are prepared to get them, the tv is PERFECT!!! It's HUGE, and is and I stand hit with your friends. I got it for the super bowl and it did not disappoint. It will take a large chunk of wall up. It's killing the 70" Visio!

My husband and I purchase this TV 3 weeks ago and we love the picture quality. We had to purchase a sound bar. For as big as the TV is, the sound is poor. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

Great tv, friend had one first so I had to get one too! Sound is good, but hooked mine up to a sound bar to match sound with a sweet picture. No digital tiling, great for anything watched in it.

This is a nice TV. Has a crisp screen which takes getting used to if you're not familiar with HD. The design is sleek and it was easy to wall mount. It has handy aps for watching netflix, etc.

Great size, poor picture

The tv is definitely big, but it is hard to get past the poor picture quality. The controller and menus are almost too basic. If you want a big picture this is the tv for you. Does anyone have any suggestions for calibrations? I have a hard time spending this much money on a tv, and then dropping another $250 to get it calibrated but there isn't much difference between regular channels and HD channels.

You get what you pay for. This is a low priced 70" TV. I expected a lot more out of it but was very dissapointed. They did not have it on display in the store, they had the 70" Visio which did not look too bad. I asked to have a blu ray hooked up and they could not get this to work, so I was stuck with the coax feed as a sample. I chose to go with the sharp over the viso 70" because the Viso had no reviews yet, and the Sharp had good reviews. I do not know how you can say there is no motion blur with this TV. It is unbearable to watch. The first thing I did was pop in the Avatar blu ray and felt like i was watching a tube tv from the early 90s with an antenna feed. Horrible quality. Maybe I got a bad set but this TV is going back. Also, the picture settings are VERY limited, there are no sub menus, just contrast brightness, and a cuuple of color adjustments. VERY basic.
