I bought this tv out of box. The tv sometimes blacks out for 5 seconds. The intervals are sometimes every five minutes. The apps do not work well. I tried to use YouTube app it comes on for about 20 seconds then shuts off. Netflix app is also the same. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the picture is good and it fits my wall well.

I wanted a big tv, and I knew it had to have a great picture because of the size you would notice if it was grainy. This tv delivered with excellent 4K picture quality, and great smart tv functions. I call it my TV wall, it's incredible to watch. Only improvement they need to make is a cooler remote (even though I just use my harmony) because my new Sony Bravia has a nice touch screen remote that would have been nice to have for this one also.

Love the tv...it was hard to find an 80" tv, and when I found this one at Best Buy as an open-box item for the price I got it at, I could not turn it down. So far me and wife have enjoyed watching movies on it and feel like we're right at the movies...we added a Vizio 38" 5.1 Sound Bar System to it to help get the movie theater feel!

excellent picture with a classy look to it. hooks up to my wifi with no problems.

Love the size of the tv. it was a upgrade from the 55" that was in its place. It filled the area nicely. and the picture was awesome.

The picture is great for how big the television is... Enjoy watching sports even more now

Screen clarity is so clear and big, I find myself amazed at just a persons facial features..almost too real sometimes!

I love this TV people who say this TV has low quality picture most have problems. I mean yes you can buy a better TV for double or triple the price. But for what this TV cost you cant beat it. I'm going on a month with mine and I love it..

This TV is a true understated classic! Anyone that wants to experiment with 4k would appreciate the dated features.

We bought this 80in after our 70in stopped working! Many think I'm crazy for having such a large TV and spending so much for a TV. After having a 70in for 6years, going smaller wasn't an option, neither was staying at the same size! We love this TV and recommend the giant screen to all who love watching TV!

I Bought this tv i was excited until the second day i had it there's was a line straight across on the screen when we watch tv. Had to return tv i was mad went to best buy they couldn't do nothing about it. Only they can do was give me model display an i said no .didnt want a use tv. So had to down size tv . That im going cancel my best buy card

I was shocked that the sound quality of this large expensive tv. The TV is visually beautiful, but the sound is very muffled. They wanted me up spend $1,000 for a sound bar. I don't understand why a $4,000 TV can't have good sound. Very surprising.

Excellent service is helping me make my purchase. The product was delivered on time and they set it up for me within minutes. I was able to watch my favorite shows immediately and love my TV.

Let me first say that the image quality of this TV is a 5 out 5! The only reason I did not rate the whole product as a 5 is based on the user interface. I'm not sure what the Sharp engineers were thinking but this thing has the absolute worst interface I've ever seen. It took 20 min. to figure out how to update the firmware. Now I could have read the manual but you should not have to if the design were intuitive. It is not! Maybe Sharp should use the same engineering team that designed the physical TV.. These guys/gals knew what they were doing. Right down to a two position stand. I mean who has a table wide enough to place an 80 in TV on? Well, the designers built the TV with two sets of positions for the stands. A pair at the outside edges for those people with tables long enough to fit it, and a position that is set 39 in. apart for the rest of us. That was a nice touch.

Just had Magnolia install this yesterday. Absolutely stunning display. Watched interstellar on blu ray and it was the best images I've seen from a television. I am having them come out in about a month to do a calibration so it should get even better. I don't know if you can get a better tv for the price. Great value, great picture and highly recommend. (I'm not just saying that because I own it)
