After months of research, I decided to buy this TV and I am extremely happy I did. The tv is AMAZING!! The picture is amazingly clear for such a large screen. The colors are bright and vibrant and the picture was great right out of the box. Love this tv!!

I typically buy Samsung TV's (I own 3), but Sharp has come a long way recently and I love this TV. You can't beat the picture quality, features and price. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.

This is the biggest TV I've had, and also the highest resolution. I tested it with 4K content, and the downscaling works well. Also, the upscaling of 1080p to the native resolution on the TV is well done. The refresh rate of 240 Hz is the best for this class of TV, and was adequate for gaming and other fast-moving applications. Smart central 3.0 really shines here. Very responsive and the app for your smart phone is easy to use. The only thing I have noticed that bothers me was the edge lit display had trouble with a certain scene in "Ride Along". It was right at the end of the movie, where the camera is panning out and you see down a road. You could tell that the TV was having trouble getting the dark parts of the road to contrast with the yellow/white lines on the road. There were visible "zebra stripes" where you could tell where the edge LEDs were on or off. A full array backlighting system would have made this the perfect TV. However, that is the ONLY thing about this TV that doesn't surpass my expectations. Netflix streams well and as long as you are sitting more than 12' away from the TV you can't see any individual pixels. Verdict: If you want a large screen and to future proof yourself without breaking the bank, this is the TV for you.

While the demo at the store is acceptable you do not notice the true picture quality until you get the TV home and connected to an actual HD display. The colors and brightness look amazing and really make shows standout. I am still making my way through the available Apps and have been extremely happy with my purchase.

I purchased the 70" UQ series and it is great! The TV has a great picture and is future-proof for 4K even though there's not a ton of content out there. I love that I can use my smartphone or tablet to control it too. Nicely done Sharp!

Just got the TV last week and has already surpassed my expectations in picture quality. I haven't watched a 3D movie yet on it but I am sure it will be just like being at the movie theater. Going online is a breeze via WiFi, and using Netflix was easy. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.

Was all set to buy a Sony when the Q+ Came out. Did some initial testing of the TV and was very pleased and surprised with its performance. On paper the TV has a lot of features, most of which I have disabled to get a good picture, which is typical with most TVs. I was hoping the 240 Hz panel and 960Hz internal processing refresh would provide a better picture, but as usual, they added too many artifacts for my taste. Overall, there aren't many flaws in the picture and I am very happy with the motion response once I set it up. Color is vivid and competes well with the Sony triluminous display. Seems to have that extra sharpness to it that only the highest end TVs have, without the constant tinkering required on a Samsung or that is sacrificed on the Sony.

The TV is beautiful with 4k content available, in love! The diamond cut bezel makes the TV look great ascetically and is also THX certified so that's just another bonus feature of the tv. Can be washed out though extremely angles, all in all though I wouldn't of done it any other way.

Definitely the best quality TV on the market. If you are looking for a 70 inch TV with all the bells and whistles and high quality to go with it, then look no further! After a lot of market research this TV easily beats the competition and is definitely a great investment.

I ended up purchasing the 70in and I have to say I'm very pleased with my decision. The TV was a breeze to setup and with 16mil pixels the picture is so clear it's like looking out a window. Can't wait to try the 3D!!

HD picture is amazing. Only complaint is wifi is awful. It worked fine with my router in the same room. It only had 1 bar with the router upstairs. Used Netgear wifi to Ethernet converter to get it to work okay.

I love my new 70" Sharp TV. The model I bought is the 70UQ17U and I am truly amazed on how great of a TV it is. Has nice vibrant colors and great picture quality !

If your looking for a 70inch screen that has a deep contrast ratio and a outstanding picture look no more, this is your new HDTV. With the revolution upscaling you will be hard to find a difference in the 4K sets and this one from 10 feet away. This also has a 12,0000:1 contrast ratio when most 4K screens are 1,000:1. So blacks are deeper and with the superbright tech it's unbelievable how great the picture looks compared to what you have seen over the past few years. You will not be disappointed

Great TV, allows for the capability of using 4K which is great if that technology really takes off especially if TV shows start getting shot in it.

Picture is amazing with the upscaling. I sit 10 feet away from this 70 inch TV in my living room so I'll never be able to tell the difference between Q+ and 4K. I can definitely tell the difference between 1080P and Q+. The color and brightness is amazing and unique, I believe because of the yellow pixel addition.The 3D is impressive and the Smart tv is nice to have for Netflix, Hulu plus and YouTube. My only complaint is that the remote is not back lit so its hard to see in the dark. But over all this TV is awesome !!!

This is a great TV, you can't beat the price or the quality. I can get a 4K qulaity picture without the 4K price!!!

LED tv's to me looked like you were watching clay people. Not this set. Looks better than my Panasonic 60" Plasma. If your waiting for 4k to catch on and have at least some content, this is the set to get. As a bonus, this is the only set to date that can play 4k. Do yourself a favor and get a Visio 5.1 Soundbar. Sit back and say WOW!

I think this TV is phenomenal. The picture is flawless...I opted to have Best Buy set it up and mount the TV, as well as paying a little extra to have the best in wall HDMI cables and Harmony remote. I was a bit hesitant to go ahead with this model given the not so great reviews about the poor picture and sound quality. I have not been able to repeat any of the problems that other reviewers had..yet. I already had the Bose cinemate 1SR sound bar and wireless subwoofer that goes so well with this TV so I don't even notice what (if any) issues there are with the sound quality.
