I purchased this microwave to replace a Sharp carousel that I had for almost 20 years before it stopped working. Soon after I received this microwave I began having problems. In the middle of cooking it would completely cut off. Food would not get hot if it did complete the cooking cycle. I reported the problem to Sharp and they quickly replaced the oven. The new unit seemed to work fine but now after just 2 weeks I placed a clean microwave safe bowl in oven to cook oatmeal. (I have used this bowl in microwave a lot). The bowl appears to have burned around the edges with a brown sticky mess. I am so disappointed. Not sure if this microwave is safe. I do not recommend. This is the last Sharp item that I will ever purchase.

Had very small space to. Work in. Because of limited space we chose small unit

Its very small and takes a long time to cook. My previous one broke

Initial use of the machine( 6 minutes on defrost mode) led to its shutting itself down.

Works great, but finish scratched too easily on top.

It’s ok only smaller then the one I wanted and it costed more

I ordered it online and picked up curbside. The bestbuy employees loading it onto my truck bed. Once I made it home and was unloading it I noticed that the box was damaged on one corner. I unpacked it and installed it. None of the buttons worked on it and I returned the item.

It was too large for my son's apartment. We had to return item.

It’s not working right and it has something to do with the panel on front. I can only set minute time, so if it’s less than a minute I just have to watch it! After holidays are over I am going to contact someone about it...

good microwave only complaint is it doesn't have an 'express' (30 secs) heat option

Has the same wattage as our old one however it takes much longer to cook it is much lighter probably cheapened up than the one we had from 5 years ago not real happy with it but it'll do we use our air fryer mostly anymore it makes a great coffee heater

Good item for the price paid. Nothing fancy and average quality.

This microwave lasted almost two years then started to burn in the back and also a scorch in the front

I wish the panel lit up. No backlight. Nice turntable.

It gets the job done and does what you need it to do.

The second time we used this oven was to heat 2 diners. Quit working in the middle of the second one. Can only operate for about 5 minutes. 6 minutes is too much for it. We will be getting a new one pretty soon. Not much good for regular home requirements.

I was always Sharp Microwave. My first one still works, I replaced it about 4 years ago with Stainless model. So second burned after 4 years. This one was emergency replacement and its number 3 for me and I see how quality of this brand going down. This has faceplate peace stick out every time you press button to open door. They advertise right on the box its design for use with Orville Redenbacher's popcorn, but it burn it on first try - we have to use timer to get right result. So disappoint in Sharp. My Hamilton Beach at work office that I got recently for $60 work much better, too bad they have no stainless version of it to much appliance on my kitchen.

I bought this last year February 22,2021 and it died after a year of use. This should not be the case. I had a much older microwave that lasted 10 years. So this is such a disappointment with how much it costs and no way to even get a replacement. I am very disappointed and upset that only after a year I am having to replace it. Just ridiculous and very bad quality.

Had this model for a year. Sparks and arcing were flying inside. I thought because of the name brand would be long lasting, well I was wrong. Things just aren't made to last these days.
