Sharp - Carousel 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave - Stainless Steel

Just purchased this Sharp Carousel (1.1 Cu. Ft.) Microwave to replace an old Panasonic unit that failed (in May 2020). I selected this new Sharp product because it fit the dimensions I needed (installed in a built-in cabinet) and seemed to offer the best size, power, and features for the price. So far, I was right, this was a good decision. The product was well-packaged (for safe shipping), easy to unpack and set up, simple to use (control panel is intuitive) and is working / cooking food just as I had hoped. Also, the unit looks good . . . brushed stainless steel with black accents. At this size, feature set and price point, I would recommend.

This microwave is good. It has a lot of power. Great price range. Easy to operate. Perfect size for me.

Love the size,mich lighter than my previous magic Chef of the same power. Bright blue buttons, nice look overall.... But man the biggest con of this microwave is the lack of light inside. That's ridiculous. It's really hard to see at night.

After using this appliance for about a month, I would recommend it. The only shortcoming is that when you open and close the door, there is no light. The light is on only when cooking. It has a lot of power. Food heats up very quickly. If you can get past the door darkness, your golden.

I don't know if you all know, but Sharp was the innovator of the Microwave and supplies most of the other manufacturers with their microwave parts, so I always tend to buy a Sharp. The Sharp 1.1 mid-sized Carousel which is stainless steel, is basic with key features for defrost, baked potato, popcorn, has a light inside, and a beeper when things are done. So, nothing super special, but it does a great job of cooking, the carousel turns properly, the door is easy to open and shut. It's simply a breeze to use, as well as set up, you don't have to be a genius.

Perfect size. Perfect fit. I haven't purchased a product made by Sharp in many years. I'm impressed by the workmanship and quality of materials. Solid feel.Easy cleanup. Because my counter has a lip at the edge having the legs on this microwave was perfect, the door easily clears the edge of my counter. I would recommend.

This purchase replaced another Sharp microwave that we had for about 13 years. It is smaller than what we had but holds a dinner plate and the small casserole dishes we use. The only thing I don’t like, and the reason for 4 stars, is that there isn’t a light on when you open the door. The light is on during cooking but is off when the door is open. So, when cleaning it, you need a light from some other source to see inside. Works well, have had to learn to adjust cook times as it is not as powerful as our last one but it was our decision to go for a smaller unit due to size of kitchen. Wanted the Sharp as we had Sharp in the past and have other appliances by them and have been very happy with those purchases.

Me and my husband recently purchased a home. So we had to purchase all of our appliances. We wanted quality but at the same time we didnt want to spend a whole lot of money. Best Buy have open box items and we were blessed to find items right of the floor. This microwave does exactly what I need it to do. Heat up within seconds. I love it touch and go.
