We are so glad we bough a warranty with this. Our new one has lasted about 6months so far. It's not a great product, but it does the job so far.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After unboxing and trying for first time was so upset some settings on number pad did not work quite a few of them .After I went and picked it up myself carried it on train mind you its pretty heavy but times being the way they are with pandemic I did not want to spend extra money on cab just kept it the way it is .Could not bear the thought of carrying it back to store . I EVEN HAD BROUGHT THE INSURENCE ON IT .But not to confortable being out in stores right now .It was a unexpected purchase when my other microwave died out .staff at best buy was very pleasant and polite. But i am totally unhappy with this purchase.

Sharp used to make good microwaves. Sad that the consumer has really paid the price for corporate greed. A microwave lasting 10 years used to be relatively common. These days you are lucky if one lasts 2 years.

Died just after a year and a half

Right from the beginning microwave didn't seem right - would burn popcorn using the preset. Other presets like defrost never defrosted or would start cooking the food you were trying to defrost. Jan 2019 woke up and no power. There was no power surge....just a dead microwave. Last Sharp I had lasted over right years....time to try another brand.

Funny thing, there was no dent in the box on that side…. Bought another of same model. The buttons functioned normally but after putting food in the microwave, setting a time for 6 minutes, then taking it out, I noticed the food was still cold. This microwave took time to heat up meals or defrost frozen foods due to low 1,000 Watts power. LG products are looking to be more better than Panasonic products.
