Started to occasionally spark and make scary noises about 10 months after I purchased it. Now, at 11 months, it shoots sparks inside and crackles almost every time I use it. Can't return or exchange it. Wah wah.

Died in 5 months. Since Best Buy only has a 15 day warranty, we had to go through the manufacturer who is going to send us a replacement microwave. We couldn't wait that long so we had already bought a new one. I guess we'll have an extra one.

Broke... Luckily, it broke two days before the year anniversary of buying it, so it's still under Sharp's warranty (but Sharp isn't making it easy to get it fixed). Just stopped heating things....
