Horrible product. Shuts off randomly has to be unplugged and plugged back in to start working again.

no internal light. heating is sub par and hit or miss. regret buying this

Broke in just over a year. Started smoking. Doesn’t last. Don’t buy.

It worked fine … for 39 days. Then it just stopped working. Garbage

I'm very disappointed, some buttons on the screen did not work.

Lasted 7 months. Many large sparks and some flame from the magnetron.

Worthless, didn’t heat up anything!! Returned it and got my money back!!!

Microwave blew up after 6 months and ceased to function

It's just what we needed, after our 30 year old Sharp Microwave bit the dust.

Had this oven 1yr 6 months. It stopped hearing food.

This was one of the more expensive microwaves, so I expected more features. PROS: -Heats quickly, more so than my other microwaves. -Good size for my counter. Compact, yet fits a large dinner plate. CONS: - Can't use the kitchen timer independently, (i.e. you can't time a cake then part way thru, heat your coffee.) You have to stop the timer, heat your food, then remember how much time was left, and restart the timer again. - Beep is VERY loud and not adjustable - No sensor, so veggies do not cook well at all. Either hard & cold or dry & shriveled. Went back to using the stove. -Does a poor job of defrosting meat and fish; outside is cooked and inside frozen. Have to guess at the time required. Again no sensor. -Turntable tends to make a slight grinding, squeaking noise.

This is the best oven in this range. Compared with GE, Panasonic, Sanyo, Samsung and others.. this is very easy to open/close. Low noice level and powerful. The only thing it is missing is when the door is open light is not on. But it works when oven is working.

Got it 3 weeks ago. After 2 wks it gives a muffled squeaking sound at about 1 minute intervals. Not a sharp pitch, but like sound when rubbing thumb on a glass surface. Since the turntable is the only moving component when cooking, the squeaking could be from the spinning mechanism inside. If it continues, I may have to take it to BB to exchange for a new one. Problem for an old guy to carry this heavy thing from parking lot to BB counter. Don't know whether Geek Squad plan covers exchange. Anyone knows? Also, the buttons lettering not bold enough to be readable unless you bend down to counter level. My Kenmore had no problems for 20 yrs, Toshiba lasted 15 yrs until I moved too far away to take along.

Today I struggled to unbox and set up the Sharp Carousel Stainless Steel 1132 CS. I've only used it once for heating a frozen dinner so won't provide commentary about that except to say that yes, the food was heated well and I like the buttons where I can just hit the number and get the appropriate minutes, although better illumination (backlighting?) would be appreciated. I would like to suggest to Sharp that they use a colored rather than transparent protective plastic covering over the machine's surface so that the customer knows for sure that all the plastic has really been removed before actually using the microwave. With transparent plastic film it is too hard to tell! Also, perhaps a tab of some sort to get the unpeeling process started would save fingernails and time! I found this protective plastic removal process much too difficult and frustrating, which it really should not be at all. I've had other Sharp microwaves in the past and do not recall such difficulties in preparing the machine for setup and use. The Stainless Steel is a nice look and I am pleased with that, and of course hoping for many good years together with this new microwave!

This is an excellent microwave. I recently purchased this one to replace the exact same sharp model that I've had since over 20 years. It lasted a really long time, And this one looks like it will be a good one too. It is not too expensive at all, and it's a good size, easy to operate, and reliable.

I was looking to replace my previous microwave that had died. I really liked it and had it for years, but wasn't made any longer. I've only had this one a week, but so far it's done everything and more that my old one did. I'm not sure if I'll use all of the built in features, but it's early days yet. This one is bigger and stronger then I'm use to, but there's a comprehensive instruction booklet that makes it easy to work with anything that's new for me. It has a nice clean look and would look good in a variety of kitchen types. Personally, I would call this a large sized microwave, it's only a few inches deeper and wider then my old one, but it seems much larger. Aside from that, it's been a great product for me and I can easily recommend it.

Excellent microwave, sharp looking, quick heating and works perfectly. We love it.
