Great microwave for the size and price. Ive always had great luck with Sharp Buy it

Not having a light inside when you open the door is not a minor inconvenience. You can't see if you spilled or spattered anything and when you clean the inside, you will need a flashlight. There are 80 reviews complaining about this for the last 2 years and the company has done nothing. I like to warm up my spaghetti sauce while I am waiting for the noodles to cook for 10 minutes. Well....if you set the timer, the microwave doesn't work at all until the 10 minutes on the timer runs out. I took mine back and they gave me a refund. I'm not spending the next 20 years with a microwave I find inconvenient to use.

I bought this unit to replace a 23 year old sharp microwave and I am very satisfied with the unit.It cooks fast and the sensor cook works great for potatoes of any size.This is the first microwave that I found that pops popcorn without burning it or leaving kernels in the bag. The only negative is the small lettering on the buttons,hard to read in dim lighting.

A great replacement for the one that finally popped its final bag of popcorn. I love that it is a tad smaller than the one that died; it allows more storage next to it. The steel case is crisp and clean. It has a potato button!

I was looking for a good microwave for my family of 7 and this one is perfect for our needs and has worked great for the past few years now. I highly recommend this one as it is a good size and works great too.

I bought this microwave to replace my 15-year-old similar unit because it operates about the same and the ratings are high. I’ve only had it about a month so I can’t address long-term reliability. The only change I would suggest is to make lettering on the top half pads either larger or lit slightly from behind as they are hard to read for an older person. My husband thinks the alarm is too loud but it does not bother me. I am satisfied so far.

I bought a Sharp Carrousel with convection cooking plus normal microwave combo in 1990. That one finally no longer worked after 32 years of use. With that experience, I bought this Sharp Microwave oven with no convection option because it was much smaller the one that stopped working and it gives my wife a lot more countertop space and she absolutely loves it.

I purchased a new microwave from Best Buy and was very happy with my purchasing experience. The instore sales person was very helpful. I ended up ordering the item online and everything went very smoothly and I received my new microwave delivered to my home very promptly. Best Buy carries all the best brands and offers fair prices. I'm always very happy with them!

Great features, excellent price, easy ordering process…

We recently purchased this microwave and after a few days, returned it. The Microwave is very noisy and vibrates while operating. The light only comes on during operation, but does not come on when the door is open. We ended up purchasing the LG 1575ST.

Works okay but a bit noisy. Really do not like that there is no light when you open the door-makes it harder to clean. Also overall too light so it easily moves out of position on the counter.

It's a microwave. It replaced an old Costco low end item. i like the higher power. What i dont like is if you want to program in 2 mins and 30 seconds. you cant do that. its two mins and if you need an extra 30 secs just tap the 30 second button

I have had this microwave for just under 3 years. After owning it for just over a year it started sparking inside. I looked it up and found it is common for the metal plate inside to fail. It was an easy and affordable fix. But now the paint inside the microwave is bubbling and peeling so I have to replace the whole thing.

This microwave is one of our best purchases. I recommend this microwave.

Easy to use, with enough power to cook veggies, defrost food and reheat beverages all done to perfection. Looks good and after trying three other highly recommended brands, this is a great go to microwave.

There was a sticker on the top saying to be sure to remove the plastic when you opened the microwave door. This sticker needed to be removed, but would not come off, so I used some Goo Be Gone to help remove it! Well, it took off some of the plastic coating on top of the stainless steel, too!! So, now I have a brand new microwave with a patch on top where I tried to remove a sticker, but removed part of the stainless steel coating as well. SIGH. So, if you purchase this item, just use hot water to get the top sticker off the microwave.

I bought this microwave about 2 month ago to replace a 20 year old Kenmore microwave that had no problems until the door latch broke and I couldn't get open. This Sharp microwave was a nice size, not too big, the stainless steel matched the appliances, and it was on sale. However, this is the first microwave I have ever used that actually feels hot to the touch. If I use the microwave for more than 8 minutes, the microwave shuts off--it goes dark, like its too hot or something. This microwave sits in the same place as the previous microwave, and all the vents are unobstructed. It is 4 inches from the wall, as per the owner's manual. For example, I was heating leftovers-- 5 minutes for pot roast, 4 minutes for potatoes, and 3 minutes for veggies. After a few seconds into warming the veggies, the microwaves shuts down and turns dark. The sides and the top of the microwave were very warm to the touch. I unplugged it for a few seconds, plugged it back, nothing. It was over 10 minutes before it turned back on. When I went back to re-heating, it shut off again. I have never had a microwave feel hot to the touch, overheat, or shut itself off. This has happened 3 times. I have unplugged the machine because I'm kind of weary of using it. I'm not sure if its safe.
