Was looking for an affordable microwave to replace our broken one. This one heats better than old one and we enjoy the stainless look. Classy and affordable.

This microwave has worked perfectly for me and I couldn't be happier with it. The one touch presets are a handy feature and everything gets heated or cooked evenly. To the reviewers that complain that there is no light on when you open the door I ask, Are you trying to use your microwave in the pitch black void of a black hole? Are you fumbling around in the dark trying to figure out where to place your food to cook it? The light comes on when it's cooking.

Overall, this is a very reliable and functional oven. It works well and the functions are easy to use. The only two complaints I have that removed a star from the review are that I have to remember to push the 'set time' button before inputting cook times that aren't round numbers (e.g. 65 sec, etc) as the number pad by themselves immediately starts the cooking time by whole numbers - pushing 2 starts cooking for 2 mins. The other annoyance is that the new oven came 'protected' by a thin film of plastic covering the entire unit, but it did not have any easy method of removing this film. As I removed it, it just tore into tiny pieces and this took me almost an hour to remove, yet not completely. This is a very stupid way of protection. Most appliances would enable the removal of the plastic covering easily. After almost 9 months of use, it still functions well without any problems.

The Sharp 1.1 Cubic Ft. Carousel Microwave is a good mid-size choice. Not too big to fit in confined places, but bigger and more powerful than the compact low power microwaves that cost about the same. The stainless steel finish is nice, and easy to clean. The controls give you a lot of great options, including one for Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn. This is the only real drawback, the controls really could use a backlight. The panel is darkly colored, and in dim light, the buttons can be a tad hard to read. The illuminated display is blue, and quite bright. It includes a digital clock, which is handy.

This microwave is priced very reasonably and it works like a champ. Build quality is decent for the price. It has good amount of power and warms food very quickly. This microwave has fair bit of plastic parts, although it would have been nice if they were made of metal. I have been using it for couple of months and so far I have no complaints.

I bought this microwave for my office. There are 9 employees who use it. It was easy to set up and figure out how to use. The overall design is pleasing to the eye. The display is well lit and contrasts nicely against the black background. The interior light is sufficient. Truly a best buy!

This microwave has many beautiful elements, and is so easy to use.I have only reheated food in it; as I purchased it not long ago. It doesn’t take a whole lot of time to heat your food thoroughly. I will be defrosting meat, and cooking meals in it soon. The numbers and everything on it is easy to read. You can set your own time to cook, or just push one of the buttons and go. The stainless steel I like also.

I really like this product but.... There is no light inside, which my previous microwave had. This is the only problematic issue I have with this product. I like the 30 second button, The time selection 1 - 6 are express. If you need 1 1/2 you have to input thru the time-cook button. Took a little bit of time, but once I used them for a while it came easy. It's a great microwave for smaller spaces

Bought this when my current microwave up and died on me. It’s a great microwave. Good price and easy to use. Looks sharp as well.

I love the Sharp Carousel! Unlike the H.B. microwave it replaced, the clock and the cook timer stays on the screen. The power is excellent and it requires less cook time than my previous brand of microwave. It also defrosts meat in less time. The size, at 12 inches high, is just right for my countertop. I love the number of functions and ease of use.

The blue lighted numbers easy to see. Love the one touch power on. Either being 1 minute. Or 5 press number once. And starts to cook. Love that feature. also easy to clean. Very bright light when cooking. You can see a s watch your food being cooked. Not like other microwaves that where dim. The only thing that I don’t care for is the fact that there is no light that comes on when you open the door to put food it. But that is a minor flaw. Over all. It’s not s heavier microwave either. It’s pretty light.

Excellent microwave. I purchased to replace older model by different manufacturer. The model being replaced was more expensive but this microwave is not only smaller in size but it does a better job and fits in place on the counter much better than the more expensive brand it replaces. Glad I purchased this Sharp microwave which I like more than the one it replaces.

We purchased this microwave to replace a Sharp brand we’ve had for about 27 years. We thought it deserved our loyalty of brand with such a good track record! It’s exactly what we needed for our countertop space. It works perfectly and has been easy to operate. And has oh, so much more power than our “old guy” that finally gave out.

Pros: Good buy for a mid-size microwave (1000 watt). It's used daily to heat up frozen entrees and frozen veggies and pulls it's weight. Cons: No light when door is open so makes cleaner harder. Also cannot use timer same time as cooking time. Also timer will stop when door is opened so must restart timer again.

Great compact and easy to use has enough power to do all you need to do easy to clean great value.
