Easy to use great for smaller spaces, heats evenly, clean design.

We had a 12 year old GE model that was similar in power and size. It died of natural causes. This Sharp model was chosen because of the price, size and power but also the look. The other models were not as attractive to be honest. Also I had a a Sharp Carousel microwave years ago and remembered that it had been a sturdy machine. I was not disappointed when I opened the box and since using it. We use it to reheat coffee, leftovers and to heat up some frozen foods. The size is perfect for us. The power is enough for us. The buttons are easy to see though as someone said the background is lack so that may be an issue in the dark for some. The button placement was an adjustment from our previous one but that took no time. The types of buttons were fine for us. We are happy with it. The price was great. Best Buy was great. It arrived in the manufacturer’s box, not boxed within another box. Was a little worried about that but turned out fine. Don’t forget to remove the very stuck-on film off the outer metal shell.

Excellent and easy to use. Price point was on par with other models. Model is quiet and its design fits well into most kitchen styles. I would highly recommend this model and the no touch process to pickup outside Best Buy was efficient and very safe. Email/text notifications allowed me to wait until product was located and ready for pickup. Took less than 10 minutes from arrival to have brought out to car.

I really like the look of my new Sharp Carousel Microwave. It looks great with my other appliances and fits perfectly into the space I had and looks like it's built into the cabinets. It's easy to operate and so much faster than my old 700 watt unit. It's really easy to clean the outside with just a damp cloth. The price point was just right for me. I'd recommend this microwave.

Microwave is easy to use, but has many features, & economically priced.

I bought this microwave to replace a Sharp Carousel that I had for 16 years. Pros: The microwave looks exactly as displayed in the picture. The blue display is not overpowering in the dark. After several days and several uses it is working as expected. Cons: The user has to touch the time cook button before entering the time on the keypad. That was not needed on my old microwave. The button to open the door requires more effort. I push the microwave back an inch before the door opens. I simply pushed it back as far as could on the counter. The light only comes on when in operation. The light does not come on when the door is open as it did with old one. I also found that it was packed extremely tightly in the box. The foam broke apart and crumbled before I could get it out of the box which made a mess. I had to cut the box apart to get it out. In the process the glass plate fell out, as it was packaged separately. Fortunately it did not break.

Purchased the Sharp Carousel microwave as a temporary replacement for my over-the-range microwave that suddenly stopped working right after Thanksgiving. After looking at several home stores, on Black Friday even, Best Buy has the best price and selection. Great mid-sized microwave, works so well I am planning on keeping it even after the over-the-range microwave is replaced. Great customer service from Best Buy especially considering the crowds during Black Friday shopping!

Gift for my sons and they love it.They love the size and ease of use and how quickly things heat up.

Quite a few reviewers complained there is no light when the microwave door is opened. This is actually not a real handicap in my opinion because the oven cavity height is taller than most similar 1.1 cu ft models. The inside is painted bright white so it’s easy to see. It also has added advantage that you can just leave the door open to dry out the excessive steams (such as during cooking ramen) without worrying consuming the useful life time of the oven light. Obviously a taller oven cavity, it also means that the oven has a narrower depth so that the volume stays at 1.1 cu ft. My biggest complain of this oven is that the roller guide for the glass tray is unusually small in diameter and the glass tray itself is very light. This disastrous combination means that when you put food (especially slightly heavier items) on the glass tray, without even knowing it the glass tray could easily be tipped and off balanced dislodging itself from the rotation coupler leading to severely burnt food! The best feature of this oven is that because the cavity is taller, the inside is painted bright white and the cooking light is bright when on, you can easily see or observe your food while cooking.

The microwave looks very nice on the counter. It is easy to use and works well.

This great midsize but not small micrwave oven is perfect. Fits right on my cluttered counter top and is so easy to use. It’s plenty powerful too. We are very happy with it use it many times a day beginning with breakfast defrosting bagels or warming up coffee that sat too long before i was ready to drink it. Just put it in for less than a minute and it’s reheated to perfect temperature. We love it. I highly recommend it to my friends too.

This microwave warm the food quicky. And noce looking apparence, easy yo use.

We just had the kitchen remodeled and the designer had an open shelf in order to fit a microwave. We did not want to have one sit on the counter or as an exhaust unit. This microwave fit into the space nicely, which was not huge, and our choice was limited. The only option we miss with this unit is that it does not have a sensor cooking feature, which I found a convenient feature in my previous unit, but not a deal breaker. The stainless steel look fits in with our other appliances. The plastic film needed to be removed, and it covers most of the unit, a bit of a nuisance, but must have been put on for a good reason to protect the finish. Good power and 10 power levels. Does have one touch buttons for certain foods and auto defrost, however we have not used those features as of this writing. Easy to read blue LED display. Would give 5 stars if it had sensor cooking, if we could we would give it 4.5 stars.

This microwave oven fits nicely on the counter and is simple to use. The food gets hot fast.
