Nice looking microwave. Good size with great features for quick cooking.

We've used this oven daily for a couple of months. We knew from other reviews that the interior light does not illuminate when the door is open. In our view, that's not a problem. The light does come on when the oven is in use, and that's a plus. The control panel is not backlit, which we also know before purchasing. It definitely would be more user friendly if it was. The power and cooking times are excellent. The control panel is easy to understand and operate. The cooking space is more than adequate for anything we'll ever want to put in the oven. We give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the control panel is not backlit. We would recommend this oven to anyone looking for an inexpensive, well designed and attractive counter unit.

Right size, right power, works good. Actually, I prefer one with a simple timer dial, but I'm getting used to this one. If you are cheap, Home Depot is selling an oven with similar specs, Magic Chef, for less money, but I think this one is pretty cool (hot).

My over the oven microwave died and I was having company for the weekend so I scrambled and bought this countertop microwave and so glad that I did! It is the perfect size, easy to use and the price is terrific. I have replaced my over the oven microwave and moved this one upstairs to the media room where we use it for popcorn and beverage heating.

Nice smallish-sized microwave oven that gets the job done. My only complaint is that the internal light only goes on when the unit is actively being used - the light does not go on when you open up the door (like it does in my GE microwave oven).

This microwave is Brand New came in it's original manufacturers Box And Sealed! It was very well packed protected! It works well for a mid-size. However the Numbers on the outside keypad are a bit small, kinda hard to read at 1st glance! The push Button that opens the Door has way too much play which we will find out down the road if it's an issue! That alone gave it a cheaply made opinion of it because. That button is the most used part on the unit! The price (IMO) should be a little less than$ 100! Microwaves overall have seemed to go up in price but not quality! Having said all that I have had good success with the Sharp Brand and I don't expect any less from this one!! It does do what it is supposed to do!

Very happy with this microwave oven. It fits well in my small kitchen. It has the essential features such as quick heating. Not to mention, it looks great with a stainless steel finish. The door opens quieter than my previous oven as not to wake sleepers. Worth the price.

I recently bought myself this microwave I got it 3 weeks ago is beautiful and a very good size to a kitchen not to big or to small the way it heats your food in no time is a plus same goes to when you need to defrost something really quick work very good and fast will recommend this.

Performs well, varied functions cover anything you might need for different foods. But....light doesn't come on when you put your food in the oven, only while it is cooking. The end timer seems so much louder than my microwave that died after 10 years.

Nice size, looks good, but one thing I don’t like is that I can’t set timer for less than 30 seconds. There’s an automatic 30 second feature and I just stop it at 15 seconds. Not a big deal, but…

The Sharp Carousel brand microwave has been around for a long time. This is a simple countertop microwave that has great features, looks beautiful and outlasts most other brands. This meets the criteria I was looking for when I chose this microwave for my newly remodeled kitchen.

Was a little worried it might not be up to the challenge. My family uses the microwave every day. The little 30sec button is already making life easier. Perfect little machine for this small family.

Our new microwave is a nice upgrade from the old one. Easy to use and efficient for the smalleer size reheating we do do as we get older, yet still large enough for the normal microwave duties. The only downside is the lack of ability to time less than 1/2 minute intervals.

Pretty impressed with the unit. Stainless steel in nice. Fits large bowls with ease and works heating up well without having to reheat multiple times. Door is a bit loud when you shut but what microwave isn’t. Would definitely recommend

It's a Microwave, it heats things up. Even has a new style beeper to let you know your food is done. All seriousness, it's a pretty great Microwave. I bought this one to replace my 10 year old Sharp, it's pretty much the same thing. Does what it suppose to do and it does it well.

I’m having some concerns with this micro"wave. For the most part it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it in a timely fashion. Food placed inside is heated thoroughly and evenly. Now the downside. My biggest concern is the presence of a strong ""bakelite odor being omitted from this unit during operation. While it seems to be somewhat less obnoxious a month into operation, the thought of an electrical problem going forward is very concerning. A lesser concern is the inconvenience of being limited to a 30sec only, or a one minute plus, on cycle . Going forward, my recommendation is walk past this microwave !

Does the job. Nice size, easy to operate and even heating.

This purchase was a replacement of a Sharp Carousel 1.1 cu. Ft. of 20 some years ago. That microwave was still working, but we thought it was a good idea to replace it with a newer model. We decided to stick with Sharp because of the success we had with the older model. Overall it works well, fits nicely on our kitchen counter top and has some nice features that our old model didn't have, Features like the +30, time clock and hitting a number once to cook for 1, 2 or 3 minutes. My only complaints are the lighting could be better. The clock or cooking time light is blue, which is hard to read from a distance, and the function pad is hard to see if you don't have adequate lights on. The pad could either be illuminated or a brighter color. Hopefully this one will be a reliable as our first one.
