I had the previous generation of Sharp air purifier and it has been a great unit. When the low end air purifier in my bedroom broke, I decided to purchase this one. It is a lot quieter than the (non Sharp) unit it replaced. It also seems to do a good job. I wish that the filter for this unit was located on the front like the other Sharp unit I have in the living room because you can place it against the wall, and this one has to have around a foot on the back. I also wish that the activated charcoal filter was separate from the HEPA filter. Otherwise, this is a great unit. My favorite feature of this unit is the auto speed selection feature of this unit.

This air purifier is FANTASTIC!! It will detect the least little odor. If you so much as poot, it will kick into high gear!! LOL!! Seriously!! My wife and I have stepped out of the bathroom and it kicks into high. We have it in our master bedroom, so it works well with having cats and dogs in there with us. What really sold us on this unit for the master bedroom, is the plasma cluster technology, that is supposed to help kills germs. Because, when you are sick, were will you be the majority of the time? In your bed. The fan on low is quiet. We run it 24-7 and has yet to bother us when we try to sleep. When it kicks us to high, it is not very loud at all. Again, it has never bothered us when we try to sleep. But, we also have a fan running all night, as I am hot natured. I cannot say enough good things about this air purifier. It works as well, if not better than our Dyson we bought the same day. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for an air purifier.

We bought a Dyson air filter and this filter for our master bedroom on the same day. This filter works great! Very sensitive to odors and cleans the air very well. We have not been sick as often with this in our bedroom. We have cats and haven’t had any complaints from guests about pet dander either. I highly recommend this air filter to someone looking for one.

My husband is allergic to just about everything. His allergic reaction to pet dander has been non-existent it seems since we purchased the purifier. They are also sleek for those worried about a sore sight in their rooms. We have one in the living room and one in our bedroom. Amoung one of my best purchases for sure !

I had issues going to sleep either during sick or just having dust around the bedroom. Since I got this purifier I use it every night and I sleep so well and don't have to worry about coughing. The fan is constant like a white noise machine so you'd get use to it. It also passed the flatulence test with ease.

Ok, I was skeptical about an air purifier. I think "c'mon can this really help the quality of air? this thing isn't even that big...can it really purify an entire bedroom?" Happy to say I was wrong about being skeptical...this thing is basically magic. My wife has allergies to dust, pollen and basically any particle that this thing claims to suck up. DAY ONE as soon as it was installed and running my wife noticed a difference. Waking up the next morning she said she had no stuffy / runny nose, no headache, no sinus pressure...none of the usual issues she's been dealing with. Smaller and cheaper than the dyson, and does more work. Needless to say we are very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend it.

I needed an air purifier for my office space that had been under construction. It fits right under my desk without ocupying a lot of space. It has worked great at controlling the amount of airborn dust particles so my allergies have improved and i love the cooling fan. The only reason i took off a star is because its not great at removing smoke scents. There is a cigar room near my area but the smoke scent can still be very strong regardless of the fan being on high. Last thing the purifier hardly makes any noise so i love that. strongly recommend.

This air purifier is the best and notices the change in air quality right away. I just wish the filters were more easier to find and the price when you do find them aren't so friendly.

Everyone in my house suffers from Allergies, my Wife, My Son, My Parrots, and my Pugs. I am the only one without them. I got this for our downstairs to help filter out allergens from both the pets and from the environment, and it has worked wonders, the air is noticeably fresher in the downstairs than the upstairs, will more than likely by another for the upstairs as well.

This air purifier is very quit specially on low . The device,has nice design that go with all type of furniture.

We purchased this for our bedroom as we have 2 dogs and there's a lot of dander floating around. I've noticed a reduction of dust on surfaces and I wake up breathing much better every morning my husband appears to be using his inhaler (asthma) much less frequently at night than he used to.

I was looking for my old Air Purifier (FP-A60U) filters at Best Buy; I saw this item on clearance section ($79.99 + tax) . It's almost cheaper than buy a new set of filters. So, I bought it for my bedroom. I have my old Sharp Air Purifier for 4 yrs and I love this new one. It has an auto fan speed. The only issue is when it turns on max speed its loud.

I've been stunned with how much gunk this pulls out of the air. I consider myself to be a clean person. I dust regularly and keep my home in good shape.... Still, this unit has to be cleaned out just about every weekend because it's pulled so much out of the air.

My fiancé and I woke up every morning with allergies. Our dog sleeps in the same room as us so we put this near him and we noticed the very first morning that we could actually breathe. We use it on medium for the white noise during the night.

I am very happy with this air purifier. I did some research before purchase since there are many options out there and this one seemed to be great for my needs. It is small and does the job for a room with a cat litter box. I would recommend.

Ordered on sale, very happy with my purchase. Odor detector works great and hepa filter seems like it will last a long time. Works best for a single room, but still takes a while to completely purify the air of one single bedroom. Haven’t tried it in a larger room like a living room.

Due to new carpeting, paint and new furniture in our apartment, we were having problems with allergies. We purchased the Sharp Air Purifier and it made a world of difference.

I bought it because I have animal odors in my house. It has greatly reduced the odors in my bedroom where they spend the majority of their time. The downside is finding the replacement filter, the reason for the 4 stars.

Use this purifier everyday all day because I am a smoker , keeps the air circulating and it doesn't smell like ashes when I walk into the house. It's a must have
