Q: Is the filter wipeable like other ionizers?

Q: Where are the best place to set and how air goes around. Is there smaller one.
A: You need to read the directions they are very strict on the optimum placement of your air cleaner. I was concerned at first when the directions described that the air cleaner could interfere with my WIFY. However I was able to find the perfect location for mine and what difference it has made on improving our air quality. I know it is working by how sensitive it is to a change in air quality. It is cool in Florida and we will open the doors with screens and the machine senses it every time lights will change from Green to Yellow or Red. The change in light color reflects air quality and lets you know air quality has been compromised. As far as a smaller size not sure. Matching the size of your room to the air cleaner's intended air exchange output is critical to its ability to give you improved air quality. In other words smaller is not always better and definitely could interfere with performance and your happiness with this product. Get the right size for your room and you will be pleased in its great performance. Set up is bit of a chore but allows you to learn how to change and clean filters which is so important. Would suggest checking filters after first week or two of use as it might need more frequent cleaning with first use.
A: CO2 is an air molecule that can not easily be cleaned but rather the prevention of its source must be eliminated. Carbon Monoxide is a more common air pollutant and there are electronic plug in detectors. Again eliminating the source of this Carbon Monoxide should be your first concern. Google for some possible solutions. Cigarette smoke pollutants can be cleaned by this model but trapped particles in carpet and curtains can be a challenge. Air purifiers such as this model will improve your air quality but most cleanable pollutants are of a larger molecular size and can be caught in the filter. CO2 and Carbon Monoxide are just too small to be caught by this filtration system.

A: Hello Jen, it is recommended that the filter in this unit be replaced every 2 years. However, this is dependent on the conditions that the unit is operating in and as such replacing the filter is based on usage.

A: Most replacement products can be purchased on the internet at different prices shipping is a big consideration. There isn't a one answer to this question you have to research and find what price works for you. But cheap is not always better.
