Sharp - Console Air Purifier - White

I had the previous generation of Sharp air purifier and it has been a great unit. When the low end air purifier in my bedroom broke, I decided to purchase this one. It is a lot quieter than the (non Sharp) unit it replaced. It also seems to do a good job. I wish that the filter for this unit was located on the front like the other Sharp unit I have in the living room because you can place it against the wall, and this one has to have around a foot on the back. I also wish that the activated charcoal filter was separate from the HEPA filter. Otherwise, this is a great unit. My favorite feature of this unit is the auto speed selection feature of this unit.

Ok, I was skeptical about an air purifier. I think "c'mon can this really help the quality of air? this thing isn't even that big...can it really purify an entire bedroom?" Happy to say I was wrong about being skeptical...this thing is basically magic. My wife has allergies to dust, pollen and basically any particle that this thing claims to suck up. DAY ONE as soon as it was installed and running my wife noticed a difference. Waking up the next morning she said she had no stuffy / runny nose, no headache, no sinus pressure...none of the usual issues she's been dealing with. Smaller and cheaper than the dyson, and does more work. Needless to say we are very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend it.

This air purifier is FANTASTIC!! It will detect the least little odor. If you so much as poot, it will kick into high gear!! LOL!! Seriously!! My wife and I have stepped out of the bathroom and it kicks into high. We have it in our master bedroom, so it works well with having cats and dogs in there with us. What really sold us on this unit for the master bedroom, is the plasma cluster technology, that is supposed to help kills germs. Because, when you are sick, were will you be the majority of the time? In your bed. The fan on low is quiet. We run it 24-7 and has yet to bother us when we try to sleep. When it kicks us to high, it is not very loud at all. Again, it has never bothered us when we try to sleep. But, we also have a fan running all night, as I am hot natured. I cannot say enough good things about this air purifier. It works as well, if not better than our Dyson we bought the same day. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for an air purifier.

I needed an air purifier for my office space that had been under construction. It fits right under my desk without ocupying a lot of space. It has worked great at controlling the amount of airborn dust particles so my allergies have improved and i love the cooling fan. The only reason i took off a star is because its not great at removing smoke scents. There is a cigar room near my area but the smoke scent can still be very strong regardless of the fan being on high. Last thing the purifier hardly makes any noise so i love that. strongly recommend.

I have a Blue Air filter machine for my larger rooms and this for my smaller bedroom. This is a great purchase. It cleans the air with its plasma cluster technology. It filters the air through its HEPA filter with carbon for odor removal. With normal use the filter will last two years per SHARP's recommendation. Great for bedroom use (12x12) room.

We bought a Dyson air filter and this filter for our master bedroom on the same day. This filter works great! Very sensitive to odors and cleans the air very well. We have not been sick as often with this in our bedroom. We have cats and haven’t had any complaints from guests about pet dander either. I highly recommend this air filter to someone looking for one.

Everyone in my house suffers from Allergies, my Wife, My Son, My Parrots, and my Pugs. I am the only one without them. I got this for our downstairs to help filter out allergens from both the pets and from the environment, and it has worked wonders, the air is noticeably fresher in the downstairs than the upstairs, will more than likely by another for the upstairs as well.

My husband is allergic to just about everything. His allergic reaction to pet dander has been non-existent it seems since we purchased the purifier. They are also sleek for those worried about a sore sight in their rooms. We have one in the living room and one in our bedroom. Amoung one of my best purchases for sure !
