As advertised right (11/30/18) now this product states it comes with a charger with batteries for the truck included and the only battery you need to buy is the 9volt one for the controller. This is not true. It comes with no batteries and no charger and the box I received clearly states they are not included. I reported this false advertising to Best Buy on 11/30/18. Hopefully they will fix the website for both this truck and the one of the other color. The cost of batteries and enough chargers to charge 12 batteries at once (I bought 2 trucks, one red and one blue and each require 6 AA batteries), comes to around $100 on best buy and around $65 on Amazon. That is a significant expense for RC trucks advertised to have a charger. People should be aware of that before they choose to buy. Until they change the false advertising I would not recommend buying this truck unless you are OK that you will have to buy all the batteries. According to other reviews it appears to work well, my objection is that they lied about what the truck comes with and this means a significantly increased cost.

Great starter RC Truck as it functions pretty well but not too fast for a beginner just learning to control. Truck rides well and has power to climb, but our Grandson was a bit rough on it and steering gear went out on 1st trial or I'd give it higher rating. Luckily Grandpa is good at fixing things and was able to repair & so far so good but front end could use some protection from impact. Bought on sale so good value, but recommend with caution.

Cheap monster truck toy for nephew, it works, not a Traxxas but a starting point

Did not last very long before the turning gearbox broke. I used it for a short time for an Engineering and Robotics Club assignment. We tested it indoors on a ramp. We noticed that turning did not work well. We took it apart to see what was wrong and found that a small white plastic gear was split in two. Other than that, it worked like a champ and has a lot of cool features. I am hoping to figure out a way to replace the gearbox with my students.

A fun little vehicle to play around with and easy to use. My under 6 year old grandson has no problem operating it. One warning, it is not tough enough to drive down the stairs but it is cheap enough and fun enough to buy another one.

Durable truck, can go over rocks and grass no problem. My son wishes it would go faster but otherwise he loves it! Batteries have lasted well, although I would have liked to have rechargeable batteries for the truck.

I bought this truck as a Christmas gift for my 13 yr. old grandson at an excellent price; he hasn't had the opportunity to take it outside yet due to snow coverage but he is really impressed with the gift thus far.

We bought two of these (one red and one blue). The kids played with them in the yard - one broke within 5 min (“driveshaft” type support snapped in half and both the strut and another piece broke) and the other one just stopped working. We tried new batteries in the car and remote and no luck. Hope Best Buy will take them back!!

5 year old son likes it as it is a replacement for remote control car that broke. The remote is of different design than his old one, and it is not as intuitive though, hence the 3 star rating. Don't believe the remote control was pictured as part of the item listing on BestBuy, so didn't know it was of different design once product was received.

Overall a great buy very happy with it. It takes batteries so that’s kind of a negative and battery back doesn’t stay on well but my son loves it

It’s okay, I wouldn’t buy it again . Got it for my 4 year old for Christmas and it lasted about 2 weeks before things started breaking off if it.... he knows how to drive them as we have real RC trucks I figured this would be a fun little car for him to use when we didn’t want to take the big ones out but this didn’t last long.

Good product. My 4 year old really enjoys it. Works pretty well overall. Batteries could last a little longer but really good otherwise.

Worked fine for a few days, but my 7y/o son broke it. I'd be better if it came with rechargeable battery pack.

My daughter is loving this truck. The only problem can be a battery life.
