This isn't your parents BBC Sherlock. Guy richy creates a slight modern spin on the the original concept. Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are excellent partners that make the film both exciting and hilarious. This film on Blu-ray is one of the best films to have in your collection.

Sherlock Holmes lives again. Robert Downey Jr. embodies the character of Sherlock Holmes. The best live adaption of the character to date. Any Robert Downey Jr. fan will love this movie. Great from start to finish. A terrific buy for any movie collector.

Excellence in film. Sherlock Holmes has never been better. This movie (as well as Game of Shadows) are extremely well acted and directed. The action keeps going, the cinematography astounding, the characters flawless, the humor perfectly tossed in.

Very entertaining! I enjoyed Guy Ritchie's take on the classic character. Robert Downey Jr may take his characterization a bit too far but really the whole film is over the top. Great entertainment in my opinion.

This is Guy Ritchie's take on a modern-day Sherlock in a period setting. It's great if you go with an empty mind and not expecting a typical Sherlock Holmes treatment. However, for a purist, it can get a little jarring. Four stars for fun - one star less for the extra bit which is missing.

The movie is a gift so i really cant review it but i was extremely disappointed with the 'one hour pick-up' was visiting a friend so i picked a location close to their house waited 4 hours before being told it was unavailable at that location & no longer available at the location close to my house.. Doubled the price of the movie to change it to shipping! They should have ate the cost of shipping since was their mistake not mine but whatever will think twice before ordering from best buy again unless the cart total qualifies for free shipping..

Suspenseful tale directed by Guy Richie. Robert Downey as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as the loyal Doctor Watson in an action packed thriller!

One of my favorite movies, it moves quick the first time you watch it. You will need to re-watch one or two times to catch everything that occurs, but it is a movie that you will want to watch again.

Has all the quality of a steelbook, clasps work great to keep it shut, disc is kept in place well. Artwork on the front and back looks good, though the back cover almost seems low resolution. I believe it only comes with one Blu-Ray disc.

A good action filled romp that you can eat popcorn too. No major brain benders or horizon stretching events, but fun none the less. If you are tied to the original Holmes it may not be the movie for you.

Both are great movies. The first one you need to pay pretty close attention to so you don't miss anything. Watching it a second time helps put it all together. Definitely fun watching both films back to back because they tie together nicely.

I was puzzled when the Downsy/Law casting was announced, but I must say I loved this movie! His take on Holmes was refreshing. The bromance between the two was spot on! This is a good one to own.

See what made him so good at his job and so odd...let's US in on a whole new side...genius to a fanatic...seems like you have to be diabolically minded to catch the diabolical....hmmm!

I'm not a Robert Downey, Jr fan, but this series could make me reconsider. Clever dialog, a great plot line and incredible cinematography make this a blue ray to build a collection around. It's great!

Love these movies. Robert Downey Jr is great and super funny. Great set of actions!! Definitely recommend this movie.

Just watched this the other night. It's a good movie. Can't wait for the 3rd one to come out. It gets better watching the 3rd or 4th time. Love the 2nd one even more.

I have realized that prices are better here because its cheaper for some great movies. I use to buy at Wal-Mart but it was more convenient for me here and I haven't bought any since then.

Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are American treasures and I will fight anyone to the death who thinks otherwise.

I was so excited in viewing this movie in 1080p. I have this in DVD but the Blu-ray is awesome in this resolution.

Movie was very entertaining. Both actors played their roles superbly. I am looking forward to a sequel.
