This, potential final series of this show, was good but not overall great. It focused so much more on Sherlock's family than it did on them solving mysteries, which for me made took something away from it. Hope that they do another series, but I think it unlikely with the schedule of its two leads. Series two will always be the best of this series, but this one is enjoyable nevertheless...

The first two episodes were not as interesting to me, but the last episode blew me away with its intensity! Overall, it is a good season! It will be hard to wait another few years before the next season comes out!

Each new season has gotten stranger and darker as the hero's personality is further revealed. There is little of the humor which relieved tensions and delighted in previous seasons and we lose an important, humanizing influence with the death of one of the major characters. Still, this is better than anything on network television by miles and is gripping from beginning to end.

This is the fourth season of Sherlock and it just gets better. It is a shame the the season is only 3 90 minute shows. It is suspenseful and well written and takes place in the modern world. Very addictive!

I was blown away by a couple of episodes, they were thrill rides. I was surprised as to how a couple of the actors' real lives actually mimicked an episode. It was mind-blowing. I'm glad I bought Season 4.

I have followed this series since the first season. The characters are believable and are well acted. The plots are incredible and the way they follow some of the original Sherokian stories are incredible.

Each season continues to be a premium product. Great scripts, stellar actors, and excellent Bluray presentation. Generally -- typical BBC production

We were totally surprised that there was a season four with these series. We watched them almost immediately and it was as good as the previous three seasons! Sherlock Homes was never this entertaining!

Now that Steven Moffat is out of Doctor Who, and Benedict's due to become Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Martin has plenty of free time, what better way to return to this modern take on a classic series? Considering the so-so effort of Series 3, this one returns in fine stride. It also sets things up for another season later on, which I am open toward.

Season 4 only continues the excellence that is Sherlock. If you're considering purchasing this, I'm sure you've already seen the first three and know how good it is. Expect nothing less from this season.

The revival of the Sherlock Holmes series continues to be one of the best since Doctor Who. The casting of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in the roles of Holmes and Watson are a delight to fans.

This series is so good and yet I wonder why there are so few episodes. Just about the time you're settling in for a long watch - you've seen the entire season. Few episodes but completely worth it!

While only 3 episodes long, they were very exciting episodes. You better not be trying to do anything else while watching these, it is very fast action, detailed, and exciting to watch. I want more!

The writing is amazing and these episodes will not disappoint! The actors carry the characters without a hitch and it's as entertaining as it was from the beginning! I can't wait for more.

The only way this could have been a bust is if my Blu Ray disc was defective and Best Buy wouldn't do anything about it. As far as the series is concerned, I recommend it to all fans of Sherlock!

The fourth series does not disappoint with more of the same mind-bending case solving as the previous three series. It takes a long time for them to come out but each episode is a masterpiece

Love everything about this show except the length of time we have to wait for new seasons. But, as long as they continue to produce such a high quality series, it is worth the wait.

We watched these on Masterpiece theater, and we bought every Sherlock with Benedict Cumberpatch and Martin Freeman. Always challenging,these are ones to keep and watch again in a year or two

I almost hope this is the final season of the show. It's a great show, and a decent enough season, but it lacked the magic of previous seasons. I also read somewhere that this Holmes has more in common with James Bond than the great detective, and that's true. Regardless, it seems to be over, and it would be better to go out now than get any worse.

Tell me this isn't the end! The series starts with a punch to the gut and ends with a mind blowing amount of awesomeness. If haven't watched this series yet, what is wrong with you?
